Cafe Paris, Santa Fe

Our carefully researched trip plans included Tia Sophia, unfortunately, everyone else had the same idea as well. We deviated and decided to give this place a shot instead. Bad decision... bad bad decision. Coffee - terrible. I watched them refilling the coffee machine with brown water several times. Hell... I know that you're slammed but come on! Rinse the damn pot and use cold water! Breakfast burrito - disgusting. I think anything smuthered in cheese would be delicious. Apparently I stand corrected. The baby potatoes had zero seasoning (they were boiled), the eggs were overcooked and rubbery, and even the cheese couldn't pull the ensemble together. Pastry - The only good item at our meal. Service - mixed. First of all, don't serve customers when you don't have adequate support staff. Our server was sweet but there was a prickly person yelling at her co-workers. Completely disruptive and annoying. Yeah you with the Princess Leia buns throwing your hands up in the air every five seconds. Hold it together. The entire restaurant could care less about your own interpersonal drama. It comes off as really disingenuous when you are loudly denouncing that you don't want to be so-and-so's b*tch.. then sweetly talking to your customers. We just want our food and coffee minus the fake sweetness and brown water. Definitely skip this one! We would have if we had only researched it on Yelp. We did manage to dissuade several people who had not yet been seated to dine elsewhere.

We went there in a hurry not taking time to ask around or do any internet searches for local eateries. We just decided we were hungry and needed a place to eat. We have two little kids and they continued to be hungry while we waited for what seemed like an eternity. The food finally came but it was cold and the kids didn't want to eat it after a few bites. Perhaps it was a bad day for them but we couldn't get over the prices for what we paid. $42 for what amounted to snacks. There are other places worthwhile in the city.

Cafe Paris offered excellent food at reasonable prices. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere with a staff who cared that you had a great experience! A variety of foods was available to suit all tastes and the bakery is outstanding.

An excellent and relaxing experience in fine dining at affordable prices. Offers beautifully prepared and delicious French cuisine, lovely pastries, and a fine selection of wines. Tucked away in a secluded, Historic alleyway, Cafe Paris allows the diner to experience relaxed, European dining with informative and helpful staff.

A large party of us met there for dinner. The staff was very friendly and the entertainment was fun--Hippie guitar players and Hula Dancers. The food was very bad and very expensive. Would go again if I could find something on the menu that I could tolerate since our friends will probably want to go there again when we all meet there from out of town.

A great (relatively) inexpensive place to get French food in Santa Fe. Their pastries are wonderful, and their brunch menu is great!

One of the best French affordable cuisines in New Mexico for lunch. They have a great variety of food which is delicious and just the right size in portion. If you see the donkey statue in the Plaza, you will see the patio seating in the alley behind the donkey. The woman who seems to be in charge is very friendly and you will get nice service, even with a child!
