Thai Cuisine Teriyaki Queen, Albuquerque

The food is very good, but a bit pricey, when they charge 21.4% above the bill as a tip (20% of the food & beverages = 20% + 20% of the tax = 1.4%). They might only add the automatic tip to larger parties (we had 6 peope)...I don't know, since I couldn't find any info about it on their menu.

This is our familys favorite restraunt. We would recommend eating here to everbody.

I loooooove this place! me and my family used to just call in orders once every few weeks and the food is just absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.

Poor Service (9-4-08) I used to love this place! Last time I went I was told they were out of Teriyaki Chicken... how can this be in a Teriyaki restraunt, you got me. So fine, I liked the place and ordered some Stir Fried Tai Instead. My food comes out and I start eating it, and the spicy Tai didn't agree with me, to omit the bad details, so I had to eat the white rice. I have had hot Tai before elsewhere and didn't have any problem. My waitress comes over (she must have been 16-17) and I explained that the food didn't agree with me and I was stuck eating rice. She smiled and agreed the Tai was hot. No offer to change anything, no offer for a refund, discount, nadda. Then another waitress comes up, she's older, likely in her 20's and I've noticed she's been talking to some customers at a table in the back for about the whole time i've been there. She asks if everything is ok, I said no, the food really upset my stomach and I was sick. At least she offered another main dish.. but it was too late I just couldn't do it. Anyway It didn't matter because she quickly returned to her friends in the back to visit. I did notice other customers had to call over the older waitress for service waving their arms in the air and yelling. But it didn't end there. I go to pay for my meal, and there's no one at the register. For a good 5 minutes. The older waitress noticed me and was too busy visiting with her friends to respond right away. Then I discover the young teen waitress is in front, and has been all along, she's been talking on her phone. So I get my tab. No offer of a discount, an apology, nothing. It's a matter of pay up buddy. I didn't leave a tip. I should have just left and not paid at all, I'm sure it would have taken them hours to discover I was gone. On the upside, the staff was courteous, just not helpful. It's a good thing it wasn't a life threatening reaction.

I introduced several of my co workers to this place and they love it! I love it too...they have a great and reasonably priced lunch buffee. My favorite is the tapioca pudding for desert! Hmmmm good!

It's like taking a mini-Thai Vacation! Good, Curry, The Thom Kha Soup (chicken, coconut) is great. All the food is made to order and you can get anything on the menu as hot or as mild as you want. The staff is friendly and the prices very reasonable.

Very good food, not just a buffet. Save room for dessert -- the coconut tapioca pudding is SOO good! I like trying something different each time, and have never been disappointed.

Honestly I LOVED Thai Cuisine before they expanded a year or so ago. It was small but you got excellent personal service, excellent food and great conversation (when there was time). Nowadays you get young folks at the front counter who barely look at you much less speak and looong waiting times (between 20 and 30 minutes) when you order to go. The food is still fantastic, I just miss personal touch.
