Excellent Sunday brunch!
We went to Garduno's Sunday brunch buffet today and were pleasantly surprised. For $9.95, one can choose from eggs benedict, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, huevos rancheros cooked to order, burritos, tamale pie, enchiladas, seafood, pasta, and desert.
Ignoring my better judgement, I loaded my plate with red chile fish and rice with cilantro, shrimp fettucine (in my experience, eating seafood at a buffet is asking for food poisoning), green chile beef burritos, and tamale pie. Everything was wonderful!! Gardunos definately doesn't skimp on its buffets like other restaurants do. The entrees were high quality and fresh, and I feel like we got our money's worth.
No doubt Garduno's is a tourist place--the chile is not as hardcore as it is at Sadie's or Padilla's (my personal favorite), but it's still very good. Garduno's would be my first recommendation to out-of-state visitors.
