This is my regular place for coffee. The place is cozy with good employees. The coffee is fine by Starbuck's standards, but it ain't great. There are very few Starbuck's with great coffee. But it is good enough. And it is one of the few places in downtown Nobs Hill, Albuquerque with plenty of parking. I can get in and out easily when I'm in a hurry.
I don't usually write reviews on Starbucks because I tend to love them all. I felt compelled to review this one because of how nicely the baristas treated me on a recent business trip to Albuquerque. They gave me directions, tips on restaurants, etc. and the customers were nice too. It's near UNM and the crowd is academic, professional and local. Also, it's one of the warmest atmospheres for Starbucks too.
Satelite Cafe provides Free Wi-Fi internet access, Starbucks charges $5 an hour.
Flying Star provides a large selection of magazines to peruse.
There is no reason to go to Starbucks, unless you don't have the means to go anywhere else.
