Four Joys Restaurant
Four Joys Restaurant is a lunch time favorite of North Valley residents. The large dining room is decorated with traditional oriental artwork and silk screens. There is an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet with a large selection of entrees and side dishes. If you would rather order off the menu, there are three pages of items to choose from. The Hawaiian Paradise, a seafood combination plate with Chinese vegetables and special sauce, is excellent.
This is the best Chinese food in the Albuquerque area. The staff always provides the best service. The Po-Po Platter is a must! The Crispy Shrimp is a delight and the Saki is always hot. A North Valley treasure.
Great chinese food. They will prepare food without MSG upon request. Best hot and sour soup in New Mexico. Only place I've had better was in San Francisco Chinatown. Friendly staff whou have been there forever and quick service.
July 2008 ... overall, it's worth it. From scale from 1 to 10? It's a 7.5. Good food, good service and inexpensive. The lunch buffet could use more items to select from. Great eggdrop soup! Eggrolls - cabbage kind, not spouts.
As the old saying goes don't judge a book by it's cover, the same is true of this place. I have been going here for years and have yet to be disappointed. The menu is full of great items and when I go, it takes me a while to decide on what I will be eating that evening. If you pass this place by, you will regret it.
Four Joys has good soup and cuisin! It has been on the top of my list! They have great waiters! They remember people wich makes you feel special! If you do go make sure and eat number 13 and 7! Not at the same time becuse there dishes are big!
