This place is our favorite spot in Sedona. We have eaten here many times over the years. We now have 3 small children and they are always fine with that.
The food is exceptional, some of the best Italian I have had in years. Go here if you want some great food, wine, and atmosphere!
I have enjoyed dining at Troia's many times over the past few years. The restaurant is gorgeous with its open kitchen and beautiful surroundings.
The staff and owners are a delight. The food is the best italian in the area, along with a bit of flair for the foodies. I have enjoyed their seasonal menu and have tried just about everything. When I take my annual trip up to Sedona, this is always the place to dine for me. Enjoy the restaurant you will not regret it..!!!!
Dining at Troia's is like coming home to Mama's cooking! The food is awesome and always enough for lunch the next day.
The staff is warm, welcoming and efficient. We've been going there for 11 years and will always continue to. Don't miss it next time you're in Sedona!
If your looking for cozy, quiet and romantic this is not the place. It's more like a cafateria. It's a big dining room open to everyone to see what is going on.
It does not offer a cozy, or private, romantic environment at all. The tables are too close together and they seat you close together even when the restuarant isn't crowded. The food was okay I guess but for the $ I wouldn't go back. The portions are not that big and pasta doesn't cost alot so why they don't offer more on your plate I don't know.
My husband and I drive to Sedona specifically to have dinner at Troia's. We enjoy everything from the delicious bottle of wine from the local winery, Echo Canyon to the scrumptious deserts! Top notch service and extremely warm and welcoming owners. We can't wait to go back!
Sam and Rosanne have a quality Italian restaurant, and I have always found them to be accomodating to my needs. Never has garlic bread tasted sooooo good, and I drive all the way from Prescott (over an hour drive) on a regular basis to have some. The reason that there is a long wait for food is that it's worth the wait-homemade food takes time, and with good reason. Pity those that have no idea what great food should taste like! They even knew I was coming from an hour away once and still stayed open late, with Sam cooking just for my wife and I!!! Good places to eat aren't just about the food-it's how well you are taken care of and invited back. I have gone on vacation and came back there after 3 or more months away, and they still remember me and what I like to eat!!! THAT'S why you wait for your food!!!!!
We go there first for the delicious food, friendly service, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful proprietors. Everything from the pizza to the veal is a delight to your tastebuds. My husband can not have enough of the pizza! We wish they would open a Troia's in the Valley!
We went in for dinner and waited over an hour for a spaghetti dinner. We finally left when the 2 chef's disappeared. As we were leaving the owner shouted at us that this was not a fast food restaurant. How long can it take to make a spaghetti dinner for 2. I would never go back.
