Visited La Fonda with friends last night. First time I tried it since moving to Cottonwood a year ago. The food was really great, best in the Verde Valley. Especially liked the cheese crisp appetizer. Service was prompt and friendly; will definitely return.
Hey Sam -- Get over the rotten apple. There's one in every barrel. The great reputation this restaurant has - for 33 years - kept in the family - speaks for itself. The waiter's name is Dave, by the way.
And, by the way, I LOVE their chili rellenos! Just had that combination plate the other week. Excellent, as always! And the sopapillas - MM-mm!
Was really disappointed. Was hyped up over the rave of the place but wouldnt send my enemy there. Food stunk. Sorry but eggs dont belong in a burrito unless its for breakfast. Chille Relano was missing. Had one with just batter, no pepper. The place looks shabby and the service was awful. Guess you need to be a regular and not complain about your food. Got major attitude from the waitress. Oh and I think they forgot how to make drinks. Awful Awful Awful
