Grand Canyon Coffee Cafe
A slightly odd combination of traditional American fare and Asian dishes makes this the perfect place when you do not know what you want to eat. Breakfast is served until 11am, and then the lunch crowd comes in for sandwiches, soups, salads and house-specialty teriyaki dishes. The menu includes espressos and cappuccinos, sandwiches, teriyaki and sweet and sour chicken, Korean barbecue beef and frozen yogurt. A country coffee house decor includes straight-backed wooden chairs, a dining counter, cow skulls hanging from the columns and tons of Grand Canyon souvenirs for sale everywhere you look.
Yum and fun. You know it's good when the locals eat there. Plus if you need a green chilli fix they have you cover. Enchillada breakfast burrito is delicous. My husband had the traditional which is everything you want, eggs, potatos, choice of meat, bread. Very good stop.
There are only selected points in the world at which Heaven touches the earth. The Grand Canyon Coffee and Cafe is one such place. In the form of Karin and Tony the culinary flare of Williams, Arizona shines as bright as the light atop the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
