This little store represents a decadeac2s old dream come true for Dahl & DiLuca. Although small in size, it is chocked full of sweet and savory delights. The deli style items are culinary creations of Chef Lisa Dahl, who has waited patiently to bring her heavenly recipes to her patronac2s palates. Her soups, salad dressings and sauces are prepared daily with tender-loving care. Partner and Executive Chef, Andrea DiLuca, offers the finest of homemade pastas, from his Roman roots, made daily, in the tiny kitchen of Dahl & DiLuca Ristorante Italiano. this place has a great, bustling atmosphere with a nice bar to saddle-up to while you wait for a table. we ate on the porch which has a wonderful ambiance with trees, vines, lots of propane heaters and a couple fireplaces when its chilly. cont say much about the ambiance inside other than the bar area but the whole place was certainly busy, which is always a good sign, imo. (staurday night in early november).
our server was excellent, gave us plenty of attention without being overbearing, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was prompt.
food was very good.... my wife had a seafood linguinethat was fantastic and i had a penne arabiata that was also great. very tasty sauces and the seafood was fresh tasting. the arabiata had a great spice to it that was not overbearing. solid wine list and pleanty of other drink choices from the bar.
the only thing keeping it from 5 stars, as the service and food were great, was the pricing. everything was very good as i mentioned but the prices were a bit over the top for the overall experience. $115 for a couple drinks, appetizer, meals and i desert.
not a big deal though... it wont keep us from coming back.
My wife's favorite restaurant in the area. We visit annually and eat here at least once. If you can get an outside table, I prefer it. Were there last weekend to celebrate mother's day. Food was top notch, as was the waitress.
Some of the crowd is a bit upity, but a good steak makes a country boy very happy and his wife has whatever she feels is good that night.
I had a bad steak a year ago, but that must have been a mistake.....this year great.

Worth the drive from Sedona to the Village of Oak Creek. Great Service and WONDERFUL food. Pricey and would like to see more wines by the glass. Have been 30 times when we go to Sedona and always consistant. If not the Best one of them.
The building and grounds are gorgeous, the restaurant is tastefully and beautifully decorated, and the service was prompt and courteous. We did not have reservations, and although tables (plural) were available, we were made to wait 10 minutes before being seated. I felt this was to teach us to make reservations in future visits.
As we were seated, we were told that S... would be our waitress. After a short time another waitress (who did not introduce herself) appeared and took our drinks order, explaining that S... was busy serving other tables. A second server (also not introduced) took our food order, and a third unnamed server delivered the food.
We visited on a Monday night and the restaurant was nowhere near filled to capacity. I might think they were short-staffed were it not for the three people who served us. Perhaps the whole too-busy-for-you act is intended to build snob appeal.
The food was faultless. Once we received our food, we were all quite pleased. Ecstatic, even. Really. We live in the San Francisco Bay area, travel widely and have eaten in many world-class restaurants. The food is truly world-class. But then again, so are their prices.
We might go back; the food is worth it. But be sure to make a reservation...even if it IS an off night and the restaurant is not busy.
Everything was perfect. The appetizers were perfect. Food. Perfect. They served a variety of Northern Italian food and dishes in veal, seafood, and pasta well all great. Atmosphere. Perfect. Service. Perfect. Even the bathroom was well done. The price, though expensive was worth it as it was probably the best meal of our time in Arizona.
