Oak Creek Brewery & Grill
A branch of the Oak Creek Brewing Company, this pub in Tlaquepacque Village is one of the major haunts of revelers. Chicken, tortillas, pizzas, crab cakes, pork loin and pretzels are on offer here. You can get milk, martinis, iced teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well. But the obvious draw is the beer made in the Oak Creek Brewery and stored in serving tanks. Time certainly flies when you find yourself enjoying yourself at this jovial establishment. Some of the brewery's signature beers available are Micro Light, Oak Creek Amber Ale, Village Nut Brown, Pullman Porter and the Seven Dwarfs.
Every time we visit Sedona (Twice ayear ) we spend time, Lunch and Dinner here. Enjoy the atmosphere, friendliness of the staff and the food is very good !!! The brews are beyond any words. The variety alone can keep you coming back. This is the place...no questions !!
Do not expect a warm welcome here if you are assisted by a service dog. The moment I approached the hostess desk, the staff implied I was faking a disability. My dog wears an obvious assistive walking harness with bright yellow/red badge, yet the hostess strongly suggested he was not a real service dog.
Although our party was seated as ADA law requires, I was confronted IN THE RESTROOM by a manager. I felt cornered as she informed me that SO MANY people lie about being disabled just to keep their dogs with them.
The management of Oak Creek Brewery kept short of violating federal law while effectively demonstrating that disabled persons with service animals are NOT WELCOME.
How, precisely, do hostesses or managers determine whether a disability is real or not? Does the Oak Creek Brewery require wheelchair users to prove disability, or do they mistrust only those with service animals? Does the company enforce this policy at each location or only at their Tlaquepaque restaurant?
Until the company changes its policy, anyone with a disability - or who cares about the rights of the disabled - might think twice about the Oak Creek Brewing Company.
Wandered in while dodging rain in the desert for lunch. Nice amber ale with the featured brat of the day. My wife also enjoyed her BLT. Then it was back to looking at more arts & crafts we couldn’t afford. Enjoyed the brat and beer better.
The food was good. I got the sea bass which was excellent. My husband and son got the ribs and they did not talk the whole time while they were eating something that doesn't happen often. We got there later in the evening so none of the shops were open. I would suggest getting there early and shopping around and then finishing the day eating at the Oak Creek Brewery & Grill.
