I went here with most of my family, and we were all extremely impressed. The restaurant isn't very big, and is easy to miss. However, it's definitely worthwhile. The service was excellent; our waiter was very friendly and never left us needing anything. The food didn't take long to get to us. The portions were huge for the prices, and it was absolutely by far the best Thai food I've ever had(and I've had quite a lot). It was flavorful, fresh, and authentic. I will definitely go back. Perhaps the people leaving bad reviews were in a different restaurant... We interacted with several of the wait staff and they were all very helpful, friendly and polite. Just absolutely fantastic.

I agree with Wilbur, used to be great, now just average. We are locals, and haven't been there in 2 years. No future plans either. We go to Thai Palace in Old Town Cottonwood. An easy 4 stars and always consistant. Sedona is pretty, but definitely not known for great food...or even good food.

Used to be great. Now, it's just average. The wait staff is so angry and indifferent these days. I have eaten here a dozen times over the past 4 years. I ordered veggie soup. It arrived twice with meat in it. The third time they just picked the meat out and brought it back to me. I tip fat and always bend over backward to be nice to wait staff. Afterall, they are serving ME. I have to say that I am done with this little place. Farewell...

One of the worst thai place I have ever visited. First it took 40 minutes to get a table because only 1 server was working. We ordered 3 different Thai dishes and a soup. It didn't look and taste like Tom Yum soup at all. All the dishes were made of same curry although the dishes we ordered were totally different and all of them were really bad example of Thai food. Service was horrible. I would not suggest anyone to go there. Be Careful....

We like this place a lot. Quality food in a casual atmosphere. Eaten there a half dozen times at least and the food has always been wonderful!

Was there for lunch, good taste of food, good service, prices on average(lunch special), casual dine in. Lots of vegetarian choices but I am a meat eater so I went down on the beef :)

Best Thai food in I've had in Arizona
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
I love all types of ethnic food, Thai being one of my favorites, so I consider myself a tough critic. I've tried about five Thai restaurants since I moved to Phoenix and at most, one restaurant was "pretty good," the rest were average. None came close to Thai Spices, which was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, unique-tasting dishes, nothing bland or generic here. Order mild if you are sensitive to spice, we ordered our dishes medium spicy, a 6 out of 10, and my lips were (pleasantly) burning throughout the meal. As for the service, I didn't see the rude gentleman others have mentioned, we had a very nice young lady wait on us. We got there at 5pm on a Saturday, minutes after they had opened for dinner. We were probably the third table to put in our order, and we were so glad we arrived when we did. By the time we left, the tiny place was nearly full and our sole server had at least 10 tables while also handling several takeout orders by phone and from walk-ins. My companion and I having been servers ourselves, could see she was doing an excellent job considering the circumstances. She kept up with the fast pace, between seating people, taking orders, running the food, dropping checks. She was not rude once, stayed pleasant, still took the time to answer questions and ask if things were okay, and never seemed stressed or annoyed, just obviously crazy busy. Anyone who can't see that and still expects to be treated as if they're the only person in the restaurant? Yep, that would be the "difficult table" that monopolizes the server's time, and makes all the other guests' service suffer while she holds their hands. We remarked to our server how busy the place was and she said she did have a busser coming in at 6pm. I hope that enabled her to have a smoother night and everyone in general to have a pleasant experience, because the food is clearly a huge hit. Don't miss it, call 20 mins or so ahead and get take out if you're skeptical about the service.

Probably the best casual restaurant in Arizona. This little "hole in a wall" is my personal favorite for rainy days and when I simply don't feel like cooking. The food is amazing fresh and healthy. It's perfect for vegetarians and for those on a diet. But it will also satisfy the appetites of those who desire a filling savory meal. Be sure to try the Chicken Satay on a stick, Wonton Soup, and Pad Thai. Oh Oh! and if you enjoy coffee drinks, YOU HAVE TO TRY a Thai Coffee! The best coffee drink in Sedona.

Don't Thai This Restaurant On
By Bob, 10/6/07
When we saw the Thai restaurant across the street from our hotel, we were so excited. After passing on plenty of the more "touristy" spots in town during the day, we were jazzed to fill up on "natural" Thai cuisine and felt this hole-in-the-wall joint would be perfect. WE WERE SADLY MISTAKEN. While the food was just decent, albeit served luke-warm and lacking much flavor--it was the HORRIBLE LACK OF SERVICE that was singular. But, more than that, we've NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY in a restaurant as we were tonight. We attempted to get the attention of our server throughout our meal (to hopefully get something spicy to add to our bland entrees)--not once did she come over. We could go on and on as to why we had a bad experience...seems that it agrees with most of what the other reviews are saying here--no social skills, rude, lack of service; our only disagreement with these is that the food was nothing to write home about either. Disappointing to say the least.
