We contracted this restaurant to cater our wedding on 8/6/2010 and the owner (Eve) did not show up. The invoice had the correct date, but she thought it was for the following day. When we realized they had not set up the food, I spent 35 minutes trying to call the restaurant to see why they weren't there but the line was busy like it was off the hook the entire time, so we had to send someone to go to the restaurant in person. Once they realized they had no food for us, we had to scramble to buy food, prepare & grill it for all of our guests (48 people). After waiting so long before eating, we had to do our cake-cutting in a hurry so the older guests could leave because it was already so late. Additionally, most of our guests ended up cooking instead of enjoying our reception. Anyone can make a mistake, but she never even had the courtesy to speak directly to me to appologize. I had to call myself the following day to speak with someone who said she would send us a full refund and offered to send us food that night which we didn't need or want. I asked to give her the message that because of her error, I would appreciate it if she would reimburse us for the food we had to buy/cook which was only $185. That was 5 days ago and has yet to responded. I also received a phone call while we were sleeping at 11:35 PM from someone trying to get my address! I should have known better because she was never there to take my call, didn't return phone messages, took forever to return E-mails and would re-ask questions I had already answered through E-mail. Also, our menu was very basic for our wedding, just speghetti & lasagna. We tried it out at dinner in May and it was not very good. The spaghetti sauce was too thick and the meat used seemed cheap (like cafeteria food). We didn't say anything about this, because she mentioned it would be better for the wedding because it would be made fresh instead of how she prepares it for her restaurant by making a large platter, cutting it up and freezing it to be heated up later for when people eat in the restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY ARE UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND THEIR FOOD IS NOT VERY GOOD!
