I started going when my daughter was going to college. She took me the first time and i make sure i eat there everytime i am in town. My son will be going to college in flag this fall and i look forward to many more visits to flag as well as my favorite eating place.

We went based on the reviews and were disappointed. Steak chimi was seasoned with pepper only and very dry. Chips were almost stale. $2 bargain margarita's and the fry bread after the meal were the high points. We will try somewhere else next time.
My sister and I went to El Charro regularly when we were in college. It's been about 25 years since I last visited but was excited when I was able to take my family a few weekends ago. Food is still excellent, homemade and the atmosphere makes you feel welcome. Keep up the good work!
