The Best Grand Canyon Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/6/09
I was looking for a nice place to bring my parents that wouldn't be too rustic (camping) but wasn't going to be totally expensive. I found Grand Canyon Bed and Breakfast and never looked back! They are a very charming B&B with great suites. We stayed in the two-room suite (which was only about $215). The suite was great because it had two bedrooms separated by a bathroom. This set-up provided great privacy but I was still close to my parents and didn't have to rent another room. They also served a very generous breakfast in the morning. It was early enough we could enjoy it before heading out to the Canyon. I was very pleased with Terry & Del and thought that they were gracious hosts and kept good-looking rooms!

On 5/17/08 my husband and I had the wondrful experince of visiting the Grand Canyon for the first time. However, after visiting this eating establishment our viwepoiont has changed. We were treated with such disrepect words cannot explain. Upon arriving it took 15 minutes for the waiter to come over. The hostess spoke to him in another language as if they were speaking about us. Ths resturant was almost empmty with very few patrons to start with so you would think each patron would be welcomed with respect. Not in our case. Next we ask for steak sause the waiter put it in a small pastic cup when they turn around and brought a patron of a dirreent color the bottle remember the place was almost empty so there was no reason for this. When I asked the hostess why she walk off while I was taling to her. I encourage everyone to not patronize this establishment. This is the year 2008 and this type of hevior is unacceptable. That day was awesome to see the beauty of God so vivid until we had the horrible experience ot visiting this place. There were thousands of visitors in the canayon that day I wonder how many experienced what we did.

My wife and I eat there in August of 07. The service was not that good and neither was the food. I would not eat there again and would not recommend it to my friends.

Worse place to eat
By Betty, 5/7/07
My family stopped at the Steakhouse at Grand Canyon and were very disappointed with the entire experience. My husband's steak was all grissle, my hamburger was a burnt dry piece of meat. My 6 year old granddaughter had the same bad hamburger I did at the same price even though it was ordered from the childs menu. My daughter had spaghetti which consisted of a very large amount of spaghetti noodles with approximately 1/2 cup of what looked like a can of tomato sauce with tomato bits poured over the center of the noodles. It was so bad she left 3/4th of it. The price of this terrible meal included a 15% gratuity already included and there was an additional $2.50 "sharing" fee which was something we'd never heard of before. This very bad meal for 4 cost us over $70. To top the experience was a last minute stop at the ladies room to find it dirty with no TP and when we asked for some, we were given a wet roll of TP. All in all, the whole experience was awful and we would never recommend the place.

Best deal around the Canyon
By Clif, 5/31/05
One of the best eating values in the area. Cost is basically the same as other steak houses but the view can't be beat and the service is excellant.

YIPPEE-EI-O!!!!
By Elizabeth D, 3/15/05
I ate here with my mother last year while vacationing in the Grand Canyon, and I have been wanting to go back ever since. The food was EXCELLENT. I had filet mignon that came with corn on the cob, baked beans and a biscuit, served with prickly pear jelly. YUM! It was like a homecooked meal. We went at dinner time, and the service was a little bit slow, but the charm of our waiter made up for any delays. All the guys are dressed in plaid shirts with Wrangler jeans and ALL of them, without exception, had mustaches. They were really cute :). For an authentic "out west" dining experience, I highly recommend eating here.
