We Cook Pizza & Pasta

Description

We cook Pizza & Pasta has been the premier Pizza & Pasta restaurant on the South Rim of The Grand Canyon since 1981! Great food. Served fast. Since you're going to be driving past us on your way to the Grand Canyon National Park, you should stop and enjoy some great pizza, killer hot wings, a savory pasta carb buildup, or crispy-fresh salad bar, all washed down with a frosty cold beer or icy coca-cola! Visitors often tell us that our food is the best they've had their entire vacation! All the local salesmen and delivery persons stop and eat here. Many take food away to share with their family. The locals eat here, of course, and many hikers begin or end their trek at our establishment, but we also have customers who regularly drive several hours just to enjoy our great food! So, whether you are on your way to or from Grand Canyon National Park, enjoy some great food, served fast. The photographs on our website are taken of actual pizzas, taken directly from our pizza oven to the table, and then photographed...what you see is what you'll get!! The pizzas are awesome! But ALL of the food is GREAT!! We hope you'll join us for friendly, southwestern hospitality and unforgettable pizza, delicious pastas and world-famous wings when you visit Grand Canyon National Park!

My husband and I ate here in Feb. 2011. We chose this place because it was pretty much the only place open in Tusayan aside from McDonald's at the time. We were less than impressed. We thought the food was extremely overpriced for what we got. I had chicken primavera, which was so bland it was basically tasteless, and it cost us $16. My husband got a calzone, which had a little more flavor, but was still overpriced. Other reviewers are talking about their reasonable prices, but we didn't find them reasonable at all. We found them pretty outrageous for the low quality of food, even for the Grand Canyon area. The restaurant itself and the service was okay, but we definitely wouldn't eat here again. If we're going to spend that much money, we'd rather find a fancy restaurant with flavorful food.

Good food

We ate lunch at here while on vacation last year. We had one of their white pizza's and some macaroni and cheese both were very good and for under $ 40 bucks for a family of 4. If you ever find your self visiting the grand canyon stop by We cook pizza & pasta, you won't regret it

We ate here while visiting the Grand Canyon. The food was good and the service was fine. There was a nice selection. Nice break from fast food. We would eat here again.

My wife and I were on vacation during Thanksgiving weekend. Faced with some expensive options, and not in the mood to spend the cash for a high-end dinner, we opted for We Cook. It was very good for a small-town pizza place. Not gourmet pizza and not exactly cheap; however, they offer a better than average pizza that certainly outshines the typical chain pizza place. I was very happy to find it.

I went in with the expectations of having some forgetable pizza, the name of this joint doesn't imply anything special. I love pizza and have tried local pizza from all over the country. My family of five all agreed that the pizza there was fantastic! Everyone thought it was as good as any pizza they had ever tasted. Also, the hot wings were unbelievable and unlike any wings I have ever had with an Asian-type sauce. Whole-hearted recommendation A++.

After eating a couple of meals at our hotel, we were ready to try something else. Two of the other restaurants in town had awful reviews, so we tried We Cook Pizza & Pasta. We we knocked out. For lunch, we had a medium classic cheese pizza with a couple of optional toppings, and it was better than any pizza place back home. The cheese was thick, but the pizza wasn't greasy. The crust was just about perfect. We went back for dinner that night and had Calzone (their "Ultimate"). It was wonderful, and they even heated the marinara sauce, so we didn't have to put cold marinara sauce on our toasty hot Calzone. We sat and ate Calzone and watched the snow fall outside ... really nice. The staff was nice, too. They even had big bottles of Guiness!

We COOK Pizza really does cook.

This outfit is in Tuyasan, which is just a few miles south of the Grand Canyon Park entrance on Highway 64. It's a tourist little town where most other dining options cost $50.00 for two. This place is a place where you walk in and look at the options on the menu above the counter, place your order and then have a seat at on of the sturdy picnic tables to wait for your number to be called. The pizza was prepared quickly, and the staff was happy and really nice to deal with. They have pizza, a selection of white pizza, calcones, pasta, hot and cold sandwiches, appetizers, and a small salad bar. The pizza we ordered was a chicken broccoli. It was great, and the crusts are hand tossed. They also have a good selection of beer, including Blue Moon and Fosters on tap. They have a small selection of wine as well. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area, with small 10" pizza for $8.50 to $14.95 depending on toppings. we had a small and that was enought for two. Medium are 14" and go from $14.95 to $20.95, and the large are 14" at $16.95-$25.95. They also have a video game room which I didn't check out. I will be going back, and would recommend this outfit. Some of the items include Pure Vegan Pizza with soy cheese, Margherita, Spicy Shrimp and Garlic White Pizza, and lots of additional toppings available. They also have spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, fettucine, chicken parmesan, calzone and appetizers. Enjoy!
