With live bands playing dance music at this high-energy night spot every Friday and Saturday nights, this place attracts a mostly young crowd (between 28 and 33 years old) on weekend nights. Other than at the large bar featuring 16 TV sets, seating is also available on the outside patio. Smoking is permitted outside and in the spacious wine room, which seats 240 people. Happy Hour is 3p-7p, and 10p to close. The menu offers a variety of entrees including steak, pork chops and sandwiches. There are sixteen premium beers on draft. A featured kids menu will, hopefully, keep everyone in the family happy.
You get a lot of bang for your buck here. For a sports bar this place has good food, and lots of it, for a fair price. Love their appetizers, especially the Spitfire shrimp (in a fabulous sauce) and their pot stickers. Their burgers are amazing and huge. And their meatloaf is great and comes with a ton of food: soup or salad and a baked potato and vegetables. You will not leave hungry!
My buddies and I come here for happy hour to get their Cajun shrimp and wings. The Cajun shrimp is freakin awesome. Best part is sopping up the sauce with the hunk of bread. Good beer selection too, especially if you like the microbrews.
Never really cared for the place. Overpriced drinks for what you get, order beer instead. The food is overpriced and not that great either. If you go there to watch sports, just sit there and drink beer!
Hungry? Wanted to be treated like a human being? Risky has a dependable menu (not beyond anything, but just about worth the money), and the kindest staff I've ever met. Their open into the evening, so its a great place to just walk in, sit down, have a snack with a friend, then walk out. Highly recommended for someone just looking for a good place to sit with their legs crossed, eat, and talk.
We have been to Risky's several times. Our family really enjoys it. I can be noisy because of the TV screens, but many people go there for that reason. Love the Greek Pasta Salad and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Not gourmet, just good food.
