This is not pizza pie in the sky: it's the real thing. Zachary's brings you pan pizza from the heart of Chicago, complete with homemade crust. A hint of olive oil, a dash of spice and lots of toppings heaps the windy city's best blend on your plate. The Big Z is a neighborhood favorite, topped with the works. A large size is $21.95 and worth every penny. Chase your dinner with a variety of quality draught beers including Guinness and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, or choose your favorite soft drink.
If you like pizza and you want to get your monies worth? This is the place. Whether it's a simple cheese pizza or the T-Rex loaded with meat, you won't leave hungry or be hungry when your done. I don't think I have ever not taken home pizza. Great the next day or on day of a game. Tons of fresh ingredients and I mean tons. A must try Pizza if your just in town for a game or if you live here. It's a must try pizza!
Zachary's Pizza in Tucson, Arizona is the BEST pizza I have ever had, bar none!!! The pizza's are monsterous and absolutely delicious. The amount of toppings they put on it is incredible. Each slice weights about a pound each, and is enoughh to fill the hungriest person. The other food on the menu is also just as great. The atmosphere is awesome and then employees are always very pleasant.
I highly recommend it!!!!!
I've lived in Tucson for 15 years and this IS the best pizza in town. They should put a picture of it on the reviews. They are very generous with the toppings it is deep dish a large feeds our family of 5 for 2 days! It's huge! We always order the T-Rex its Zachary's version of meat lovers, We also like the cheese pizza. Their salads are good to they bring it to you on a ice cold plate. I would highly recommend their food. As for the atmosphere, well its across from UofA so its mainly college kids etc. But they're good for everyone. We usually order take out.
The good - Its all about the pizza baby! Great deep dish Chicago style pizza, not too much sauce, excellent toppings. A TON of pizza for the money. The medium is around 18.00 and can feed 4 starving full grown men. If your a fan of left-over pizza run out and order one to take home.
The bad - Like I said, you will want to eat this awsome monser pizza at home. Seriously, my college frat house was cleaner than this place. You sit on patio furnature and if you are lucky you can grab a window table that dosen't wobble so there is something to look at while the pizza is cooking. But hey, you can tell where ownership is spending the money - THE PIZZA!
Oh yeah, i forgot to mention the beer. It seems that management is trying to really push micro brews here. However, if your a brew vet there is nothing new to see here. Same old stuff. If you really need some beer just grab a sixer at fry's.
Love the Pizza, probably the best in Tucson, but would it hurt to maintain the establishment, maybe some cleaning, get rid of the swamp cooler, get an A/C. Like I said the pizza is awesome but with the place being so dirty you have to wonder if you are getting any unwanted toppings......... 5 stars for the pizza, 1 star for the building and cleanliness
Forget what the food critics say, this is really THE BEST PIZZA in the southwest. Somebody has to introduce you to the joint, because there in so signage. It takes appx 40 mins to get a pie, and this is just a guess, Zach probably want's to keep the crowds down to keep the quality up in his pizzas. It's a must have when you come to Tucson.
