Long Valley Cafe, Happy Jack

My family has been going to Long Valley Cafe for many years. They have really good food and great prices. They have the best blueberry pancakes on Sunday mornings, a fish fry on Friday's, a great Prime Rib dinner on Saturday nights and the best burgers anywhere. The staff are all very friendly and they provide great service!! See you there.

My husband and I love this cafe we have eaten here for all three meals and find the food to be worth the wait. The fish is great, ( all you can eat on Fridays) the Ruebens are excellent, breakfast are fabulous and the small community /family atmosphere is quite desirable. The prices are very affordable we make it a point to eat here every time we head for the mountains.

Title of this one should be: Well Known for Poor Service. We had lunch at the Long Valley and were a bit astounded by the wait for food. Some folks came in after us and ordered about the same time we did. These people got their food first which they finished at a leisurely pace and were paying their bill when out order finally arrived. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress I got a serious dose of attitude. We thought we were getting the cold shoulder because we are not locals. I found out from a local that the place is notorious for being slow and not following any sequence with orders. The food was mediocre by diner standards, but certainly not worth the aggravation. This is one I'll skip next time...

On this set of reviews GUESS who is a fired employe this a family orentated cafe serving excellant food at family prices, staff is great, some faster than others But it is a great place to dine. I recomend Sat. nite Prime Rib Best in Az.

I visited this lovely country cafe on 26 & 27 feb 2012 & though the weather at night was cold enough to kill a lion , the welcome I /We received by by the owner,s & staff was great /food was good & hot + the coffee flowed till one said enough. I write this review because my party are all members of various types of search & rescue & were in this area training & camping out my point being that we had muddy boots & equipment but that made no difference to the welcome & service received. I look forward to a return visit when the summer is here Thank,s Again to the owners I am the Scottish one

I like Long Valley Cafe, Great food, Great prices, and a Great service. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The owner's and their staff are all really nice, they make you feel right at home. The views can't be beat!

The only people that would not recommend this cafe would be someone that is no longer employed by them. This is a great place to eat and relax and the employees are great family people. The people that chose to no longer work there are regreting their decisions and are bitter. Come see for yourselves what you are missing! : )

I was just informed that I myself posted a bad comment about the Cafe. That comment DID NOT come from me. I loved working at the cafe and I liked the people and customers from there. It was my personal choice not to be there anymore, not anyone elses. If someone thinks they need to mess with people by posting false statements then they must be really bored. The cafe has awesome food and is a wonderful place to work and eat. Please next time find out from the source instead of believing the (internet)
