It's no longer the only Thai restaurant in town, but it remains most folks' favorite. With enticing dishes such as Evil Jungle Princess, who can blame them? A wide variety of vegetarian options are among the curries, rice and noodle dishes on the menu. Satays and Tom Yum Gai soup are also favorite options. The staff is very willing to customize the dishes to fit your desired level of spice and your dietary restrictions. Full bar service is available. The dining room is Asian-style sparse but welcoming. An Asian beer makes a great accompaniment to the food.
I have been going to Dara Thai's for years now. I have had both, lunch and dinner there. Not once have I left the restaurant dissatisfied.
The food has always been great and the service has always been good.:)
Especially the price that you pay for lunch is a great value. You eat good, healthy food and pay less than if you were to eat at a fast food restaurant.
Dinner is also very good. The portions that they give you for dinner are truly big. Big enough to save some for lunch for the following day.
The atmosphere at the restaurant is very pleasant.:)
I find the deserts to be very delicious. They have a wonderful coconut ice-cream, green tea ice-cream and bananas baked in honey. My problem is always deciding on what desert I will have that day, since I really love all three of them.
I truly love going to Dara Thai. If you haven't been there yet, I'd say it's high time to try this restaurant out. You have my word that you will not be disappointed.
My husband and I love Dara Thai and eat there everytime we're in Flag! It's a fun place and fairly authentic...he's been to Thailand. We recommend Evil Jungle Princess! YUM! Like nothing else you've ever tried!
This little cottage may look unimposing, but dining here is an extremely formal affair! The efficient service and rich food
have given it an impeccable reputation. Fine dining is a tradition at Cottage Place since 1980, with the menu ...
