This place is either under new horrible management or the recession got to them because now they pawn off their leftovers to new customers. If you like easting from a trash can then this is the place to eat. They rape their patrons cost and quality. There is no quality in their food. And they over charge for garbage. I had ordered some food for delivery....the beef and broccoli wasn't cooked. All they battered & fried food had been burnt. But the worse was I ordered the fried shrimp appetizer which use to be butterflied with a golden color. Well.....if I had money to burn and time I would waste it on an attorney just to throw these crooks in jail for the ol bait n switch routine. You can't advertise and promise something and then pawn off (and this is what happened) left over shrimp from a sweet and sour shrimp dish. These people are scoundrals that if could they would steal your money if they could get away with it. Wait....they are.
The service was awkward to say the least...the soup smelled like dog breath and the egg rolls tasted like multi-purpose cleaner. We will not be returning there EVER. (ps. the crab puffs were BOMB so if you ever want those for sure get take out)
Don't go there if you're looking for authentic chinese food. We asked for shrimp in lobster sauce and few dishes. To our dismay, we got small little prawn with so little gravy. The server came and ask if we're doing ok. I told her that we need a little more gravy for shrimp in the lobster sauce, she said she could not do anything about it. She should have go back to kitchen and prepared more gravy which an easy thing to do. The wonton soup taste like wonton in black soya sauce. I am so aghasted that I immediately delete the restaurant from my GPS system. 1st time getting unreliable resource from local.yahoo.com. My previous 10 visits based local.yahoo.com has been reliable, but this is totally off :(.
While staying in Flagstaff and a day of walking, we asked the front desk of our hotel if they had a good chinese food suggestion. They gave us this menu. We were told that this was a great first choice but on any given day they may not take debit card over the phone. We lucked out and they did. We ordered a great array of food. All the food was very greasy. The kids liked the wonton soup. I found the egg roll very small and dripping with grease. Otherwise, we had Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Fried rice and what they called Plain noodle that reminded me of Lo Mein. There is no free white rice or fortune cookies. We always order fried rice and say no white rice so it wasnt a big thing for us. Overall, pretty good but not sure if I would definately order from them again.
I use to eat in August moon very twice a week with my friend. That's is the good restaurant with delicious food, fresh vegetable! and many many various good foods to enjoy for appetizer, entries...
Excellent service!fast, clean,...
I've eating here even before I entered high school in 1993 and the food has always been excellent and the service nice. My family & friends love it too! It's the best Chinese food in town and it's a nice cozy place to retreat to while you're eating. Finally, it's very affordable & they give you alot food that you can eat for next day's lunch and dinner.
I went to August Moon with my friend, and we shared a dinner special that came with sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, fried rice, fried won ton, an eggroll, aaand a choice of soup. (also, they serve won ton chips before your meal.) All of this was just about $10.00. They are so generous with the food too!
The workers are extremely friendly. It's a cozy and clean environment. It's fast, and they deliver. It's easy on your wallet, and we had plenty of left overs (and we both love to eat) and we were able to have 3 meals out of the remaining food!
You're gonna love it!
This little cottage may look unimposing, but dining here is an extremely formal affair! The efficient service and rich food
