In what may seem like a sea of Chinese restaurants in the Flagstaff area, this one stands out for its health-conscious offerings. Low calorie and low- or no-salt options are featured on the table-service menu and lunch buffet. Vegetarians will find this an especially appetizing eatery. Fresh vegetables are plentiful in nearly all dishes, and care is taken to monitor the nutritional value of each item. The restaurant is cheery, the staff accommodating and the prices very reasonable at $4-8 for most menu items. Beer and wine are available.
Don't waste your time and money. They have horrible service and the waiters are so rude. They didn't give us refills, we had to practically beg for our refills on our drinks. Our waiter was an old Chinese lady and she charged us for every little thing. We had two, two year old girls with us and she charged us a lot for them and normally other restaurants don't charge as much for little kids up to age four years old. I ordered lo mien and rice noodles, The noodles were dry like it sat there for several day. Both of my friends ordered chicken fried rice and wanton soup. The kids ordered sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Their chicken looked dry around the edges and my friends daughter almost choked on it.
Searching the southwest for a Chinese buffet to equal what's back in Michigan?? The food here is nicely presented, the menu varied and delicious, and clientele-staff relationship amenable. I would highly recommend this eatery for its cuisine, and the price is comparable to the China Buffet in East Lansing. A perfect meal to end a day at the Grand Canyon!!
The food was excellent with service to compliment such a relaxing evening. No worries when it comes to cost. The atmosphere is nothing to right home about, but then I’m not there for looks! You will not be disappointed with service or food I promise!!!
Well. its pretty simple. This is probably the worst Chinese food I have EVER had. Really. We just spent about $50 dollars on togo food and it is terrible. Bland, skimpy portions of chicken and meat, When my wife tried to get noodles instead of rice, No Way. thankfully I am a local and do intend to tell everyone I know when talking about Chinese food in Flag, that they should avoid this place. Don't they know that return business is what keeps their doors open, Not price gouging for every little thing, And If the food was worth the price, then no problem, but its not. I hope the owners read these reviews.
We came here before driving to Grand Canyon. As authentic Chinese food lover, we suspect the ownership has change recently judging from the decoration. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a bit iffy. However we do like the service given. The server tried very hard to please us, which is a plus.
