Since moving to Tucson, it's been a little 'iffey' finding an authentic upscale Italian Restaurant.....particularly one with a little ambience and good service. Vivace has it all. Their Red Sauce is to die for....actually had the waiter spoon some up in a styrofoam cup for leftovers the next day!!! It's a little pricey, but you won't be disappointed with the quality or the service. They have all the traditional dishes and they actually have quite a variety on the menu that I can't wait to explore. For Tucson this is an A+!!!

We visited Vivace today for a small family get together. The food was fabulous, I had the beef tenderloin lunch special. The meat was fork tender and melted in my mouth like butter. Very tasty and a nice dish with a side salad. We also had the salmon lunch served on a toasted croissant. One of the best lunches we have had in Tucson, Az. For dessert we had the fruit napoleon, absoultely awesome. The staff was very personable and you could tell that the restaurant was full of regulars. This restaurant has character and the food is Great..try it you will love it.

Just great. Everything is just perfect. Went there for a birthday dinner. Service perfect. Food, perfect. Outrageous escargot. Fabulous chicken. Nice atmosphere (we sat outside). Couldn't ask for anything more.

Starting in April we spent most days dining out for lunch & or dinner. We challenged ourselves & visited many different restaurants through out the Tucson area, including the Northwest. Having been customers of Vivace & other Scordato family restaurants over the years & occasionaly the new Vivace Pizzeria. We decided to see if there was anything out there that could stand up to the perfection of Vivace restaurants, simply put, there are none! We and a number of our friends agree there are no other places in or around Metropolitan Tucson that meet the on going & continuous high standard of Vivace restaurants. The food, the impecable service & the professionalism is beyond reproach & rather outstanding. Needless to say the main house (Vivace) as we like to call it is the gem w/a smashing menu. The Pizzeria while different has a stunning menu with OUTSTANDING Pizza plus. Some places we visited were very good & many were good, but none as good as Vivace & Pizzeria Vivace. The best pie (Pizza) in Tucson, bar none. We have never had a so called bad meal at Vivace. We will continue our search but we always return to Vivace. We did find the new Guiessepes, owned and operated by Joseph Scordato, Danny's brother, on Oracle Road as very good. His menu favors more of the southern Italian style which is often found in New York, Chicago & other major cities. Joe gets it right. The food is nicely done, plenty of it, with good service, & very affordable. Welcome back Joe Scordato Donny Lama Simonetti

An upscale restaurant, with upscale prices. No suprise there! The wine list was very good, but marked up. The food was also very good, but if you have reservations after 8:00, they may be out of some of the specials for the day.

Highly disappointing. The menu is relatively small and overpriced. The portion sizes are also small considering the high prices. Service was okay, but not great.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!! Service is always great. Food is quite consistent and superb. If you are a foodie this is a very nice place for fresh fish prepared to perfection, olive tapenade dip to die for and awesome dishes and wine to choose from. Check them out and you will not be disapponted.

An imaginative menu and decent prices make this a seriously above-average dining experience. Only drawbacks: Service. It is VERY inconsistent. At times the hostess may be enthusiastic and friendly, and others she may act as if she is doing you a favor. The wait staff can be the same, but generally they are a cut above most places (except maybe Anthony's). This has been a problem for Vivace even back in the days of the strip mall at Grant and Swan. Go for the food, though, and the well-chosen wine list.
