Kettle Restaurant, Tucson

Years ago we went to the Kettle. The food was bad the service was bad. We stoped going and never wanted to return. Then one day we thought we would try it and see if they had improved. Ahhhhh, a ne Manager! Since Sam took over, the food is very good the service is wounderful. Sam is great! He is very friendly and treats everyone like "family". He always has a big smile, a welcome greeting, and a hug. The waitress are attentive to our needes, very warm and friendly and big smiles, welcome greetings, and hugs. His wife and children are just as nice. When his wife is there, she always greets us with a warm smile and a hug. The cooks, the dishwasher are just as friendly and greet us with a smile and a hug. The Kettle is now our "second home". it's what we used to call a "Mom And Pop" Restaurant. My husband and I are in our 70's and we are treated "like family" at the "Kettle Restaurant". "Come On Over And Enjoy Sam And The Crew And Good Food" !

This is a very good and clean restaurant.The food is good the price is very reasonable. I would recomend this restaurant to anyone wanting good food.

For the price, the food is fine. It's homey, casual and clean. I've never had a bad meal or a bad time there.

Everytime we are in Tucson we go to the Kettle. My Dad,(Roye Robley)always took us there when we were visiting with him. Sam, the owner is great. The servers always very nice and friendly. The buffet is good and a good price. Margaret, Terry and Derek Shawver Hammond, Indiana

2.5 stars - I have only experienced the breakfast buffet which is not great but not bad either. Variety of choices on the buffet line are somewhat limited and the flavors are slightly bland but you get what you pay for and the prices about average for buffets in Tucson. They have a full menu to order from as well. The service isn't the best either but again, I've experienced much worse elsewhere. It kinda reminds me of an old truck stop diner from the 80's, especially with clocks along the top of all 4 walls showing current times from cities and towns named after foods in the U.S.

Yikes....this place is a dump! Flat out. Their $6.99 Breakfast buffet is not worth the price. Watery fake eggs combined with cold french toast. Yuck! Tables and seats are old and damaged. The buffet food warm luke warm at best. I seriously question this restuarnts food handling practies. This place is scarry! Stay away. Even if you have a coupon. Stay away!

Just a Denny's copy. The food isn't great and the service is worse. Nothing fancy here just average American cuisine. If you're out late and it's the only place open, maybe. Otherwise you can find lots better.

It ain't fancy, but the place is clean and the food is cheap and well prepared. The best two features are the owner, Sam and his best waiteress, Carina.
