This establishment is no longer in business. There is a Thai Restaurant in the building now, however it still kept the same phone number. Just wanted to inform in case you are trying to order take out.
Is this the site where the owner of the place writes his own reviews? I cannot believe this place got 5 stars in most of the reviews. None of these reviews are recent, so maybe it used to be better than it is now. The food is passable, but only fair. The onion on the sandwich I ordered was from the outermost part of the onion that most people throw out -- very fibrous and hard to chew. What really irritates me most is that they charge $2.29 for a 12 oz. drink. The place doesn't seem to get a lot of business, and probably only survives because of its location next to the Sheraton Hotel where it can prey on out-of-towners who go there for convenience.
This place was real friendly, had real meat and cooked it up in a real good way. We stopped in on a Friday in the early afternoon for lunch. We were fully informed of what was available and how each dish was prepared, and for those who aren't big into BBQ sauce, it's on the side. You'll find several containers on each table along with the name of each and what each has in it. We ordered the pulled sweet pork and sliced beef brisket sandwiches with sides of potato salad and cole slaw. The pork was oh so sweet and yummy and even better with their sweet BBQ sauce, the beef was exactly that beef, it was cooked up real nice and tender and a real treat. The sides were good and each had a little extra kick which made them a bit nicer than the average. Overall, this is a great little find I highly recommend. If you enjoy real meat and a good friendly place to eat this is definately the place. Only been here six months, let's keep this one around!
