At most Chinese-American restaurants, you're not given an option. But here, if you know enough to ask, you can experience the authentic Asian flavors of the Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese provinces. As for decor, there's not much to talk about. But if you order right, your meal will hold all of your attention anyway. The regular menu features all of the standards including chicken, pork, beef or vegetables in typical toned-down-for-western-taste combinations and sauces. Ask for the Chinese menu (which is translated into English) and it's a whole different dining experience. Pork and preserved vegetables, smelts in a spicy sauce and salt and pepper shrimp are but a few of the exotic offerings.
A most unpleasant experience. I ordered pick up and arrived at the 20 minute mark as I was told.... and I waited. No biggie, people get busy and I m fairly patient. Then, when I finally get my food, the woman refused my gift card because she didn t know what it was. You must have a pin she said, refusing to even swipe the card as I explained to her how to do it. Now this was a $45 order, and I had enough cash on me to pay and I did. Then I get home and eat. The egg rolls looked like they had been sitting in grease, and the Sweet & Sour smelled and tasted faintly of A-1 Steak Sauce. Then, to top it off, there was no soy sauce, no hot mustard, and no fortune cookie. I will never go back there again.
The best Chinese food in all of Tucson. The War Wonton soup is a meal in itself;has everything....shrimp, beef, pork, chicken, wonton, all kinds of veggies, yum.
Every dish is great!!! Service is delightful.
I get delivery from this place at least once a week. They have the best prices in town -- $15 for a huge chow fun, crab rangoon, and a side of fried rice. Delivery is usually 20 minutes when there's no rush, 40 when there is.
Their food is delicious, fresh and everything stays that way. I've brought leftovers to work for lunch, and they're just as good as before. I've never been in the restraunt, but need to go some day.
I had the Lemon chicken, thick lemony sauce,, was very good, friend had the General Tsao chicken, was good and mildly spicy,, she has been alot of times and loves it, average price for area, 2 people sodas and meals under 20 by 40 cents,
Just downstairs from the hot new Casanova restaurant is this more casual and less spendy eatery. Its regional American cuisine
has southwestern accents with dishes like Grilled Salmon with a Berry Salsa and Baby Back Ribs with a Prickly ...
This unique mercado, or market, is one of the east side's main shopping venues. A Mexican restaurant with a large
patio serves to underline the distinctly South of the Border appeal of the place, adding a certain charm that ...
