Located in a foothills shopping plaza, this regionally-renowned Chinese bistroP.F. Chang's, welcomes visitors with a stone fountain and Asian art at the entrance. Once inside, aroma from the kitchen will spice your senses as the well-trained staff woks its way onto your plate with flavorful cuisine. The Crispy Honey Shrimp is a succulent signature item. Try Szechwan from the Sea with Scallops, a rare ocean pearl. Decor is served dramatically through storytelling wall murals and sculptures. Expect a wait, but trust that you will be richly rewarded for your patience.
my wife and I eat here at least twice a week. We are always acknowleged by the staff, by our names. The food is always superb.
We like to sit at the bar and watch the action. Just a great consistent
awesome! every single time. we sit at the bar ... sowe never wait more than a few minutes. the service is impeccable ! they treat us like queens when we go in ... and my bff and i go alot! never had bad food bad service or anything negative. sydney and her crew behind the bar are the best. they never have issue with special requests etc. wish i could go tonight!~
A relative went to the Place on June 1, 2009 and was completely ignored. She waited at least 15 minutes. Several staff looked directly at her and still ignored her. Then a couple came in and they were immediately seated, she continued to wait. The couple was white and my relative is not.
We were told there was a 30 minute wait it was an hour. We kept seeing people leave but no one being seated. The waiter was okay but the atmosphere was awful ( noisy/ loud music/cold). The food was mediocre and the portions small for the price. The tables near us became vacant within a few minutes of us being seated and were not bused the whole time we were there even though there were people waiting to be seated. I would not visit this restaurant again.
Great place to eat and visit with friends. The food menu has a great selection and the wait staff really was nicer then the host! Only thing I didn't like was the extreamly small waiting area. I'll be back!
Love the lettuce wraps - of course!
Our family has eaten there a few times, especially on special occasions. We have even ordered take out. Great take out service, haven't been dissapointed yet. Lovely ambiance, the food is delicious. The food has a modern flare...Get there early it gets crowded! And that's a good sign.
My supervisor took a dozen of us here for dinner last night, and the evening was an unqualified success. The restaurant manager took the time to create a table for our large party so that we could enjoy each other's company. The service was excellent from the beginning -- our server did not make us wait for our entire party, which arrived in parts, before we were permitted to order.
The lettuce wraps appetizer, a simple yet elegant combination, was delicious, and we ordered three for the entire table. We also ordered a variety of entrees, from sweet honey shrimp to sea bass to duck to Mongolian beef. In good spirits, we passed the entrees around the table to share. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. (Full disclosure: the head server admitted that the sea bass was overcooked the first time, so they re-cooked it and it arrived less than five minutes after the rest of the entrees, looking delicious.)
The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they did not rush us out at the end of the evening, as often happens with large parties.
The prices were slightly higher than I prefer to spend on myself for dinner, but the price definitely matches the quality of the experience, if not exceeds it.
This is a great place (the best Chinese I've found in town)! The wife and I go there a couple times a year for the most special of occations. You'll see people dressed casually all the way up to suit-n-tie. The food is good and you can order off-menu items fairly easily (I usually get a special curry dish). The prices are not out of line with the service and the quality of food. The decor is also fairly interesting. Don't forget to call ahead for reservations, or plan on bringing a good book...
