Ok. From ny so I know Chinese food. Positive notes : food was hot and seemed mostly fresh including hot and sour soup, stung beans seseme chicken shrimp combo dish etc. Cons was service little slow in taking away plates and refills. The soft ice cream tasted funny small sushi roll selection. The fried squid was really dry. Ice tea tasted funny little like pepsi was in there. Overall not bad but I recommend Super china a buffet on west river road. Basically same food but better taste service a bit cheaper and larger selection of sushi rolls apps. very good soft ice cream As well
11 comments and not a single one of you mentions the lunch or dinner price. Of course it's good. If it wasn't they wouldn't have multiple restaurants. The question in, was it worth the price? $7-8 for lunch is expensive, $5-6 is Cheap. $8.50-12 for Dinner is expensive. $6.50 to $7.50 is Cheap. That is, unless you pay $4 for a coffee at Starbuck's or shop at Whole Paycheck Foods. So, what is it?
I originally come from New York...This place is the closest to taste I have found to Chinese food since moving here from NY...Love this place...my family and I go all the time..its the only chinese food we eat here...service is great...food is hot and excellent...
Just ate there today. The sweet and sour sauce was watered down, hot and sour soup tasted funky, and they only had only two spicy dishes (General Tzo's, and Peppered Chicken). The food was typical buffet style and nothing really jumped out as being special. The restrooms however were very dirty and the graffiti on the walls made you think you were in Mexico. Over all the service was pretty slow, even though there wasn't a lot of people there. I think the buffet on Ina / Shannon was far better. I'll probably not be going back to this place anytime soon.
I have been visiting this restaurant 3-4 times a week since I first dined in two years ago. I know in and out managers and waiters but a boy whose name is Terrencio or Terry or ... is pretty much unfamiliar to me. You might have visited another New China which is operated by a different owner.
I Luv this place!! Its by far the best chinese buffet restaurant in Tucson. With great prices! I go there all the time, i luv it..
Excellent service & the food is always hot, unlike other buffets, where the food gets cold the second u sit down 2 eat it.
I'm actually goin there 4 lunch 2day ;)
When it comes to cheap chinese buffets in Tucson, this is my favorite. Lots of different foods everything from lo mein to dumplings. It's clean, the staff is nice and on top of filling up drinks and cleaning plates up. Definately a keeper!
The food is great and the price is not to bad. Very clean and the people are very nice and great service. I carry out most of the time and I love the amount of food you get for the price. You must try it!
