This is a MOM and POP place. Local , priced right and good food. Owners are always there and walk around making sure everything is good. If you like to eat and support local places, then eat at Hungry Fox. I like to eat the Gypsy for breakfast. Get the 1/2 portion-Whole is huge.
I was given a gift certificate for $10 off of a $20 purchase. When we were waiting to be seated, the cashier did not walk us to our table, she pointed at the smallest and most off to the side table. When the waitress came by, she asked us if we would rather be seated at a booth....there were plenty available. The food was quite good! The bill came out to $21 after tax. When we were cashing out and redeeming our gift certificate she said, she was sorry, but the drinks were not included in the offer, and asked if we would like to add a cinnamon roll to our order for $3. I responded that I'd prefer to use the gift certificate some other time and pay entirely in cash. She said she was sorry but she already redeemed and added the cinnamon roll to our bill, so I had little choice in the end. I had looked forward to coming back, however when she did not issue my change on the remaining balance on my bill I knew it was a deal breaker.
the food is wonderful! the girls are charming and friendly as can be. however the husband/wife team that own this establishment seem to feel they are above the rest of us. My husband and I have been going there for years. We have always enjoyed going there.
A MAZ ING! This has got to be the best food I have ever had! My husband and I were there for the shows, and had breakfast twice there. Not only was the food outstanding, but you could tell someone out great thought into the menu! My husband especially enjoyed the double egg yolks, but the Benedicts are to die for! Absolutely would recommend Guy Fieri check this one out!
Excellant for breakfast. Nice homey feel and great staff. Double yolks. Good value. If you don't have much $, get the cheap biscuit and egg (Remember, double) and coffee free before 11. Fills you up and mmmmmmmmm...gravy isn't too rich either.
