Lovely room, great service. Lean times have this place on point with a $5 lunch menu. Excellent food. We ordered a pizza to go on the plane the next day and cold, it was the best we've tasted ever. They offer a wonderful selection of desserts, however, I've never had the room to try them.
A classy family run restaurant is a rare bird these days. After 3 visits, all consistantly above average, I recommend this eatery with gusto!
I am from the Chicago area, and I grew up with great Italian food. I have searched for the best Italian food in Tucson, and I have found it here! They even had a special on Chianti's the night I was there. It was THE BEST Chianti I have ever had. It added to the great food! A great dining experience!
Loved the food. A little pricey, but overall worth it. Dress better than I did in boots and a t-shirt from work! The portabella mushroom appetizer FANTASTIC! And the mozzarella cheese on my entree was literally bubbling! Overall, a definite winner.
Michelangelo's reminds me of my NONNAS cooking, great Southern Italian food. The meatballs are out of this world! We have been enjoying Michelangelo's since they first opened in 1989. The families favorite dish is the Pescatore - seafood medely with marinara sauce over linguini pasta. Our kids love the pizza and ravioli. For dessert try the lemonciello cake. - WOW! Beautiful atmosphere and very reasonable prices. This place will make you feel like your in the old country and part of the familia.
Michaelangelo's has by far the best Italian food in Tucson. They have all the standard Italian favorites, as well as some deliciously creative dishes. The arrabiata sauce is one of our favorites, and even the bread is wonderful!
Prices are -very- reasonable, well worth the drive from central Tucson. The ambiance is comfortably classy. Service is always above par. A nice place for a romantic dinner or a larger group.
