Mr. G's is a greasy nasty run burrito (smaller than a rolled taco) who is so dam greedy they charge extra for watered down salsa... The employees are rude..vulgar...and ignorant...why people still go there is beyond me...folded tacos are flat and greasy, burrito's are so small they have to reinvent what a burrito is...sorry but bad food, bad employees, greedy owners not for me.

Mr G's is one of my favorite places for Burrito's. You can't beat the prices and the specials are great! I like the Green Chile Burritos and the Bean & Cheese!

Always take road trips down to Yuma to fetch dozens of tacos and burritos to bring back up to Phoenix to place in the freezer. And the sauce, nom, nom, nom ... :)

I love Mr. G's so much. The bean, cheese, and rice burrito is my favorite. How can anyone give Mr. G's less than five stars?

Food is okay but totally overpriced for what you get. You could go have a nice dinner at a sit-down restaurant and pay the same price or less. Almost $2.00 now for a puny little burrito.

I went to YHS in "76. I was there for the 100th reunion this past October. The first place I wanted to go was Mr. G's-they still make the best bean and cheese burrito in the state. I live in Albuquerque-but I still crave those burritos.

Stopped there today after all the great reviews. A little concerned as it was 7 minutes after noon and expected it would be crowded. It looked busy outside but only a few folks in line and our order was taken by the time we decided what we wanted. So good so far, the place was clean and the staff friendly and efficient so far. We ordered a chicken taco salad a mr Gs burger because it sounded like it had something extra and some fries. It took a long time for our order, we were #64 and they had already served #67 before they called us. They were not busy behind the counter I must have just ordered something difficult. Waited, waited, then finally called me, they picked the salad out of the ice tray on the counter and added it to my burger and fries. The salad was already made. That was too bad, the lettuce was wilted, the chicken appeared and tasted like it had been cooked earlier than today and left out, the salad was loaded with strips of tortilla which should have been good, but had been sealed in the bowl with the wilted lettuce so long that they were tough rather than krispy. The only utensil was spork which was not the perfect device for eating a lettuce based salad with large chunks of tortilla chips. Overall the salad was bad. If it were fresh, and we had brought our own utensils or if they maybe provided a real plastic fork for the salad, I believe that it would have been a very good salad. Not sure how to time that, as I said, it appeared to have been made much earlier than this morning. The burger was not great, just a hamburger with lettuce and tomato, nothing special, probably not worth the price. The fries were hot and pretty good. Overall, we would never return except for the so many positive reviews that got us there in the first place. We may give them one more try and stick with the Mexican menu, which is basically about 4 items tacos, burritos, taquitos (I think), and another item which I can't remember, but reminded me of quesadillas although that wasn't it. I wanted cheese enchilladas, but they did not have any enchilladas at all. My wife likes burritos so maybe we will try them next time. We both agreed the $11.87 that we spend could have been spent better somewhere else. I would rate this below average, but don't want to drop the overall rating too much. Please try this yourself at least once. Others really seem to like it. It must have been the fries that took so long so you might ask before ordering them if you are in a hurry.

Great food

Mr. G's is the best place to go when you only have a couple of dollars to spend. Their rolled tacos are delicious and a great value. You don't have to pay a tip, either. If you are looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat, then Mr. G's is your place!

I have to agree with all of the other reviews, this place is great! I've been in Yuma for a little over a year and just tried Mr. G's about 4 months ago...I wish I would have tried it sooner. Their bean & cheese burritos are wonderful. Make this one of your first stops when you come to town.

I moved away from Yuma 3 years ago and visited 1 year ago; first place to hit...you got it, Mr. G's. How can a plain bean burrito taste so good! The rolled tacos are fantastic and the machacca burrito is a favorite!! Even the hamburgers are delish. We hope to return to Yuma this year and if we do, i can guarantee the first place we'll eat is at Mr. G's, then it will be off to Wienersn (forget how to spell it)..the hotdog place! To die for chili dogs and chili fries. Nobody compares to these two top places to eat. Prices won't break your wallet either.
