LA Fonda Tortilla Factory, Yuma

I love this place! They have the best tortilla soup and sonora tacos I've ever had! Once of my favorite Mexican Food restaurants in town!

This is another great mexican restaurant in Yuma!! They always serve fresh hot food!! The service is good, and everyone is always so nice!! You can also purchase tortillas to take home and other ready made items.

Meets the expectation of very tasty Southwest/Mexican food. Salsa is fresh and laced with roasted chili's. Very good flavor but not very spicy. Had the Tortilla Soup which was excellent and a combo platter of carne asada taco, fish taco and shrimp taco. The fish taco was outstanding and the shrimp were deep fried and were like Mexican Po'Boy on a house made tortilla. Tried the flan and it too was excellent. Creamy rich and melt in your mouth yummy. Would go 5 stars but the decor is kinda run down. Definitely will go again and again.

Kind of a sketchy neighborhood, but this is a really great find! Family atmosphere and good prices, one of the best!

The LaFonda Tortilla Factory is a place of casual and reasonable dining. The service is good, and they can easily accommodate groups. Can also order and buy tamales by the dozen for later use.

I've lived off of La Fonda food pretty much all my life. The neighborhood can be described as "ghetto" however upon entering "this little adobe building" youre transformed to a Mexican Fiesta, the decor is full of color! As you enter your greeted with a warm smile and the host quickly ushers you to your table.You're then greeted by you server, who is dressed in a colorful uniform with a flower in their hair no less.The lunch is always busy and you'll often find the owners daughter walking around visiting with the customers. For lunch try one of their lunch specials and for dinner go on Friday for their "Sizziling Fajitas" sooooo good! Dont forget they have an awesome breakfast too! So go and try it out I gurantee you'll be hooked! Oh and try some Deep Fried Ice Cream for me!

La Fonda's name is deceiving, as it isn't a tortilla factory, but a restaurant. They have excellent food, my favorite are their chicken soft tacos. Their chips and salsa are also tasty. Their employees are friendly and inviting. They have a large room for parties.

You start with Home made tortilla chips & Hot sauce(Try just a little at first).It is what you would imagine as "Old(Movie) Mexico"atmosphere.GREAT Food decent portions.good price.In Winter we always go OFF meal times,gets Busy.
