McDuffy's in Peoria, AZ has watered down drinks and the food is bad. Gave me bad stomach aches that had to go to the hospital to see what was wrong. Don't mind paying top dollar for food as long as the food is fresh and not about to go bad. Would not waste any money there again when there are better sports bars at Westgate Center down the road.
Glendale has been very empty recently. McDuffy's was the packed full of people on the weekends but it's been very dead there lately playing today's hits. Very boring with odd mix of people. It's very hit and miss.
I stopped by here for a snack and to watch the football game. This is a great place for the sports fan. Screens line the walls and some are stacked three high. The food is reasonable and pretty good, too. The waiter we had was fast and friendly. If you're not a Cardinals fan don't worry; there were fans there for every team in the league. I had a great time. Try it soon! Tell 'em Bill sent you.
Today was the first time we have been to McDuffy's in Peoria and were incredibly disappointed!!! We went there to watch the Cowboys vs Patriots and the place was PACKED with Cowboys fans! There are 2 huge screens up front (and 2 smaller side screens) and the entire front section was all Cowboy fans (I took pictures to prove it too!) The problem was the General Manager...he is in charge of what games go on what screens...and although he had the Cowboys on 1 of them...(he had the Cardinals on the other) he refused to play the sound for our game!!! He also left one side screen completely blank. So we all had to watch the game to the sound of the Cardinals. It was nuts trying to figure out what the refs were saying!!! He was asked by almost every single Cowboy fan up front to please switch the sound to our game and he told us all he absolutely refused to!!! THERE WAS NO ONE THERE WATCHING THE CARDINAL GAME...AND IT WAS ON REGULAR TV! The General Manager was rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever! One of the waitresses told us he does this every week and he is very stubborn about it! Next time the Cowboys aren't on regular TV the entire group of us (literally like 80 fans) have decided that we will be going somewhere else! (We may try The Fox and The Hound or The Native New Yorker in Surprise..both of which we called because we were going to walk out, but they were already at capacity but at least they were playing the sound for the Cowboy game!) It was so much fun to be near so many other Cowboy fans for a game, it is a shame that one person ruined it all. Good thing one of the fans works for the Arizona Republic and will gladly pass this on in hopes of finding a place where all Cowboy fans can go to enjoy America's Favorite Team!!!!
