i love this resturant it's sooo!!!! good but the manager screams to the workes and i see that they work hard and they don't deserve it, and everytime i got they treat me good on the to go side.
Chile Pepper's employees need to take a training course in ethics, before he or she is allowed to work for a company with such a upstanding reputation. Their food eventually causes high cholesterol, and the attitude of the employees is enough to get your blood boiling.
i hate the way everyone in yuma talks about chile pepper and mr gs like they are something out of the ordinary. this is just your typical unhealthy, average burrito and taco. i would have to second the taco salsa opinion. the food is honestly about the same, but i can vouch for their sonora rolled tacos and strawberry margaritas.
I am not a huge fan of Mexican food but a friend from Yuma suggested I try Chile Pepper. She just raved about it. So when I went there I tried the Rolled Taco's they were great, I also tried a bean and cheese burrito that was good too. My favorite has to be the Beef Machaca's! They are OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I crave them all the time and I live 3 hours from Yuma UGH.
A great choice for fast mexican food! If you are on your way to California, stop here for fast and tasty food. From Cheese crisps, taquitos or burritos, you'll be glad you stopped.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I asked to add lettuce to my burrito. I told them I was happy to pay for the lettuce. They refused. The cashier called over the manager who said they only serve what is on the menu. I asked if they could just put the lettuce on the side and I would pay for it. I could see a huge vat of chopped lettuce 6 feet away from me. They refused to sell me lettuce. The manager said, "When people ask for mayonnaise on the side we tell them, 'No.' We only serve what is on the menu." We left and went to a much friendlier restaurant. I will never step foot in this restaurant again.
Born and raised in yuma, but no longer live there. I plan on going home in jan for my baby shower and I WILL be serving food from Chile Peppers or one of its other locations at the baby shower. Wish I could have it FEDEXed to me here in Tx.
The food is consistantly good. Service is a bit slow and the atmosphere is like eating in a high school cafateria. Parking is tight and although accessing the resturant is not too bad, leaving can take a while, or else you have to go out the back way.
