Streets of New York
With 27 stores throughout the valley, plus two stores in Prescott and one store in Las Vegas, Streets of New York still claims the taste buds and hearts of Phoenix-area pizza lovers. Since we started our business, Streets of New York has been recognized by the New Times as having the Best Pizza in Phoenix fifteen times! And in 2007, we were named the Best Pizza in Phoenix by AZ Central.com!
Note to Manager: Phoenix get's hot, run your air conditioning! Seriously, last 3x at this joint it was over 85 degrees. Sure, they keep the blinds closed but then we just get a dark-hot restuarant. The beer is cold but not for long, especially factor in the slow service. Slow service I can contend with, oven hot dining rooms are pure torture. Sorry guys, I'll take an Icee at Valero before rolling into this inferno again..
waitress was extremely rude, we felt like an inconvience to her. The place wasn't busy at all. Dirty, never asked if our food was okay she slammed down drinks infront of us. Manager who was the only other one working didn't even ask us how the service was when we didn't tip. Later 3 out of 4 of us were sick to our stomachs. Recommend another location!!!!!
SONYS is the BEST pizza joint in Arizona hands down. Their brewery locations are more upscale and have a wide assortment or beers. Their pizzabread you get while waiting for the pizza is great. If you haven't eaten there you definately need to experience their sausage on the pizza. Peperonni, sausage, x-tra cheese ... my mouth is watering just thinking about it :) Also try their Pyramid dark beer if u're into dark beers.
