I visited Pasand Indian Cusine this weekend along with my family and frnds. Food was awesome and we really enjoyed Tandoori Items and Chicken Tikka Masala and the Appetizers. Food was fresh, hot and nicely spiced.
Service was good and we felt like family type environment.
We recommend all students, families, elderly people and kids.
I have been to this restaurant several times over the past 6 years and I have not had one bad experience. The service is always great. The food has a tremendous amount of flavor and their prices are very reasonable. If you have never tried Indian food before, you are surely missing out. Great place to take friends or a family.
we tried a week ago. every body liked it.
The buffet was too good to try everybody. The food is hot and spicy
especially fresh. we suggest to try it again and again.
we like home food style and environment .we can say the best in US.
The worst Indian in Phoenix area, it should be banded US food department should have a check at this restaurant. We had a very bad experience when we had been there. Food is always cold not prepared with any hygiene.
Kids are running around the restaurant sleeping on the couches, I guess those owner of the hotel stay inside the hotel. So bottom line is if your want to be healthy don’t ever go to Pasand.
the food here really sucks. i went there last week. the food did smell and taste awful. they usually recycle the same stuff over and over. ever wonder their buffet items remain the same even if you go after 6 months.
don't ever go there.
if you want some good south indian food, try hotel woodlands on rural and ray in chandler.
We did not go for the 'all you can eat' buffet. This is a review for dinner food.
1. Food tastes bad, infact there is no taste in the food at all. The paratha and naan were good, but the entrees were a washout. The sweet was half-cooked and really could give anyone a sick stomach if they had it.
2. Be prepared for a long wait. We waited for almost 45 mins after placing the order.
3. We ordered briyani with 'thali'. It cost $10.75 and you get a briyani, rasam, sambar, sweet, pickle and no pilaf though it was mentioned on the menu card. When I asked the lady if she forgot the pilaf, she said it's not included and I could buy it separately. WTF? Do they expect people to eat briyani with rasam, sambar and papad.
Just avoid this place. I though IndiaGate and Priya were bad, but seriously this is the worst one.
Caution - do not go to Pasand unless you have a couple of hours to while away. While the food is OK, the service is surly, indifferent, and SLOW. Now I see why most people ordered their food as take-out. The restaurant also seems to double as a child care center, so be prepared for lots of kiddies screaming in the background. The canned Indian music could also be turned down a notch - it can grate after a while. Whatever qualities the food had were overshadowed by the very poor ambience. Overall, one of the most disappointing dining experiences in recent memory!
