I was expecting a great meal after reading the reviews online about this place. Boy was I wrong! This place is over priced and definitely not worth the money. I bought me a foot long, an order of onion rings, and a medium sierra mist and it came out to 10 dollars!!! I wouldn't have minded paying that at all if the food was good but it was average at best. I've had a better chili dog at Sonic. The chili was not that great tasting. The hot dog it self was cooked alright but it tasted like any other dog. The onion rings weren't even rings. they were little pieces of onion and a bunch of batter thats it. The highlight of my experience was the sierra mist but they couldn't mess that up. I will never be going back to Ted's and I can't recommend it to anybody. For the price I suggest you go and buy hot dogs and buns from the store and grill them yourself. You'll be a lot happier and have saved a lot of money.

A great place in Tempe for a real hot dog on the grill. I love their shakes too. Previously someone mentioned they only take cash, this is not the case any longer.

THE ONLY REAL HOT DOG PLACE TO GO IN ARIZONA! I am a native of Buffalo, NY and life is just not the same without TEDS. We moved to Chandler,AZ about 6 months ago and we found a teds in Tempe! So we go there and buy a 5lb bag of Sahlens hotdogs (the best) about every two weeks. Thank god for Spiro relocating to Tempe,AZ !!! GO TO TEDS NOW!

I haven't been to Ted's in many years because of what I experienced the last time I was there. I placed my order and went down the line to have my condiments topped on my hot dog. The condiment girl sneezed on her hands and picked up my hot dog and asked me what I would like on it. Needless to say, I was so disgusted that I have never been back.

Had a hankering for a hotdog and did a Yahoo search. Ted's came up. Went there not knowing what to expect. What a nugget!!! If you are from the Buffalo area and are in the Phoenix area or if you just want a good hot dog you cannot miss this place. So much Buffalo memorabilia, photos, even local newspapers. Most importantly, great hotdogs, polish and italian sausage. Onion rings are the best I have ever had. We were so happy to have made the effort. Hope to eat there again on our next visit. 2 Thumbs Way Up!!! We are from Chicago and know our dogs!!!

I belive Ted's Hot Dog is the bet in AZ. It may be cash only but get over it! I would drive acrost the valley to have some real dogs. Go in once and you'll see what the talk is all about. 3 jumbo all beef please!

Ted's is awesome! I am from New York and this is exactly the same as you get there. I wouldn't eat a hot dog anywhere else!

Ted's is really good! I would say that it is a little pricey for a hot dog I don't care who cooks them on what kind of fire. The worst part about the place is it's cash only. Very inconvienent! Their Brats are pretty good though, but the price keeps me from frequenting the place. As it is, I go there maybe once every two months. Matter of fact I think I am due for a trip. If you haven't been, stop by the ATM then check 'em out, it's worth it. Just don't be too alarmed at the price of a hot dog!
