Buster's Restaurant on the Lake
Gorgeous sunset views from the patio make this seafood and steak restaurant a perfect dinner destination. Located beside Lake Margherite in Scottsdale's Mercado del Lago Center, it is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or meet friends for well-prepared classic and contemporary cuisine. Choose from King Salmon, Alaskan Halibut and King Crab Legs, Maryland Crabcakes or a full array of other fresh fish and shellfish. Or savor the aged choice prime rib and steaks.
I have to defend one of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale against these negative reviews. My husband and I have been going to Buster's for nearly 20 years (we're only 40 years old now!) and have hosted countless birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, and holidays there not to mention just to pop in for lunch or dinner. The reason we continue to go to Buster's not just the good food and service but the prices are reasonable. I have NEVER had them lose a reservation or give us bad service. Yes, on some holidays the service can be slow but that is to be expected anywhere. I am not a review writer but after reading what people were saying about this STAPLE of Scottsdale for so many years I felt I had to come to Buster's defense. If you want to be charged an arm and a leg for a meal and get a second mortgage to pay for it go to Mastros or Ocean Club but for a good meal, friendly service and a nice view of the lake in the heart of Scottsdale then Buster's is for you!
this place can't decide if it wants to be a sports bar or a restaurant and it can't be both. Service is non existent and food is so so. Bar is boring; TV is loud, and scenary can be duplicated elsewhere. NOT GOOD
Service was aweful. Lost our reservation. Actually told the hostess how rude she was being, not only to us but others as well. Food took forever and was cold when it arrived. Threw away my friends order she asked to be boxed to bring home. Would of had better food and service at McDonalds.
I became acquainted with Buster's recently when I met a friend for lunch in Scottsdale. I was was impressed with the good food, attentive service, and attractive surroundings. We dined on the patio adjacent to a lake. There is a wide menu selection, and prices are reasonable. I look forward to returning to Buster's next time I'm in Scottsdale and would recommend this restaurant to my frends.
Continuous fine dining, good food good prices great ambience, a constant favorite of us and our friends! We go at lunch or early dinner. This place is popular with winter visitors. Go during the summer for a real treat!
You'll love it!
I went to the Sunday Brunch with my wife and my mother. We had gone there a few times before and were reminded as to why we don't go back. The servers are very unkempt. They were rude and we were not checked upon at all. My mother had to wait 20 minutes before she finally got her refill of water. The servers all looked as though they had just came to work after an intense night of drinking. They were no manners, no sense of elegance as this restaurant's location might imply. My wife and I have been to The Melting Pot many times, which is in the same area. The servers should take some lessons from thsoe servers. The food was mediocre at best and was lukewarm. I ordered from the menu which took 40 minutes to get my food. Do not go back there unless you mind an expensive version of Hometown Buffet. Or the smell of extremely geriatric patrons because that seems to be their only clientele.
Dined at this establishment with my parents last year and again with my brother in law this past weekend, but never again until the day this dying establishment with bad service and boring food experiences a buy-out followed by a total change-out. The only thing pumping blood into this place are the repeat patrons who flip a coin between Luby's and Busters.
Took my mom for mother day lunch the food was good but the service was very poor.
NO customer service. Language used very poor and unprofessional. Server act like we making her pay our lunch she ruin our lunch hours. She brought our lunch and ask us how is the food before we even try it and did not return to refill drink or ask how we are doing we had to wait for about 20 mint for our bill .The manger he came ask the table before us how was their food and service he did not bother to ask us how is our food and service. I will not recommend to any one ounce and I will not return again.
