Hiro Sushi, Scottsdale

Four of us went there for lunch. Food was okay. Nothing special. Overpriced for what it was.

I ordered a California Roll separate from my meal. When my meal came but there was no California Roll. I expected the waitress to bring it right after but no waitress. So I had to flag her down and tell her she forgot my extra order. After 5 minutes of waiting still no California Roll. I had to remind her a second time but I had hoped to enjoy it with the rest of my meal. I decided to give Hiro another chance so I called an order in. I arrived at the same time that they told me my order would be ready. The waiter said my order would be right out. The lady arriving after I did also had an order to-go. She received her order before I did! After 5 minutes of waiting I had to flag down the waiter. After I took my order back to work I found a hair in the salad. I won't be going back to Hiro.

I lived in Japan for 7 years and Hiro's is the best sushi/sashimi in town. Great service and many items not found in other sushi shops. You must try Hiro Sushi.

There are only 2 or 3 authentic Japanese restaurants in Phoenix. This is probably the best of them. You aren't going to do much better outside of California or Asia.

The service was excellent. My sake was refilled just at the same time I was thinking I needing more! The sushi was amazingly fresh and therefore every bite was better then the next! We have been all over this area sampling the different sushi places and this is the one that we crave....almost obessively!!

Family atmosphere...have lived in Japan for years, is hard to find authentic Japanese food in the valley. Recommand you to try their Okinawa Soba, is fabulous!All my friends just LOVE it! The spicy Tuna roll is great too...alittle expansive though. But you'll love it and want to go back again.

I LOVE hiro sushi because they have THE BEST sushi i have ever tried! They are very kind and the food is the best! I cant wait to go back because they're food is very fresh and they provide very good service..!!!
