This restaurant is a little hidden away. We stumbled upon it almost by accident. The atmosphere is quiet, I appreciate a little peace . The food is out of this world! Very delicious !! . I have visited many more times since then and always leave totally satisfied by the authentic exquisite taste and freshness of the food.
this place was fantastic. ever since i went to seoul two years ago i have always been keeping an eye out for a good korean restaurant in the valley area, thus far to no avail (excepting this afternoon). in my humble opinion, the quality of the kimchi speaks volumes about the overall integrity of the restaurant, and this stuff was fantastic...
i stumbled upon this place for lunch today, and while i didn’t have time to experience the entire menu, the classics (bulgogi and bi bim bap) were fantastic and accompanied by simple, classic korean sides.
if you get the opportunity, i encourage you to stop by and please let me know if you were (as i expect) not at all disappointed.
The food here is very good. I always enjoy the banchan (an array of side dishes that seem to come with every lunch of dinner option). Their kimchi is good. I recommend the Tol Sot Bibim Bap, which is hot white rice in a hot stone bowl topped with slices of beef, slices of mushrooms, bean sprouts, and sliced carrots. Add on some Gochujang, (a somewhat sweet, yet spicy red pepper condiment) and be amazed at the flavors.
I have also tried and enjoyed a soup and a basic spicy chicken on rice dish that were good as well.
The restaurant is usually nice & peaceful. There's a nice display of Korea 101 on the wall that I read while waiting for the food. They have a cool authentic wooden bar too. This could be a lower key spot to have soju (sake) bombs with friends.
This was the dinning worst experience I’ve had. I come from the SF bay area and love the ethnic food you find there, Korean being my favorite. First the man that greeted us was wearing an old and dirty shirt, we arrived at 11:30 and found out the cook, his wife doesn’t arrive until after 12 as she goes to school. When she did arrive, our food was given to another table that accepted it because they had waited longer than us. The food was mediocre at best. Do not go here if you want good Korean food. Oh did I mention they had a argument while serving the waiting tables?
