Houston's Restaurants, Scottsdale

Erratic service... never brought appetizer, had to beg for drink refills. Was told that I could not answer my cell phone... if you're a doctor, sales professional, or business owner... eat elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in the restaurant's ability to seat large parties. We had nine people in our party and we had to sit at 2 separate tables (not even next to each other). We had to wait over an hour to be seated and over another hour for our food. It was very chaotic and noisy with the waitstaff rushing around bumping into each other and breaking dishes. When the food finally arrived, it was good but not great. I will not rush back anytime soon. Scottsdale has a lot of nice restaurants to try before coming back to this one again.

The service is okay but the food is GREAT!! The spinach dip is very good and the veggie burger is the best I have ever had!! (I've been a vegetarian my whole life. Tried everything- they-re the best!)

The only thing I don't like is the jazz music in the background. I wish they would try another genre of music. I love their French dip and the fries. The ribs are quite nice too. I like the staff -- always busy and helpful. Large groups aren't ideal here and it's not for an intimate conversation. We try to go at lunch time to avoid a long wait.

Great food, even better service, and decent prices. I'm not sure how you could ask for more? Local and Love it!

I absolutely LOVE Houston's Pork Ribs. They are by far the best I have ever had. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The meat literally falls off the bone and the bbq sauce is so delicious. I crave Houston's ribs at least once a month. Great service, great ambiance, great food!

Mike777 scared me a little. I probably would have given 5 stars but I'm a little creeped out right now. Fortunately, I don't drink margaritas and if I ever start, it won't be here. It's one of our favorite places in town for a little dressing up. The black bean burgers are the best anywhere. Nice atmosphere.

We visit Scottsdale twice ayear and always make sure we visit Houstons al least twice on each trip. The service and food is amazing with a wonderful atmosphere.
