Kyoto Japanese Restaurant, Scottsdale

Best Sushi place in the area! My friends introduced me to this place and I loved it! I always had a hard time finding a good sushi place, but Kyoto is the best one, yet! I tried all of them, Sting Ray, Ra, Kona, Benihana, ect. , but noone can beat Kyoto! Its a bit crowded on the weekends, but worth the wait.

I had a pretty swell dining experience at Kyoto's :D My filet mignon was cooked right in front of me and was GREAT!! The sushi was pretty damn good also. I'd definately go back when I'm in the area :)

The food is decent, but the staff is not particularly nice or helpful. It was okay, but there are some much better places in the area.

this place is old and the food was not great. i have to agree that stingray is a better option for about the same price. i dont know how they even stay in business

This restaurant is one of my fav's in Scottsdale. If you're young and looking for a crowd thats getting ready to go party after a yummy meal, then this is the spot. The food is delicious and the show at the grill is awesome. Love this place!

My Fiancee and I went to this restaurant and I have to say it was very displeasing. I mean they give you this small drink for like $2 and tell you that the refills are $1.50 out of a soda machine. The food was ok but all of the Japanese places Ive eaten before give you so much food you take it home. Not only do they charge EXTRA for fried rice they cook it in the back. THe place is out dated the chairs that you sit in are extremely uncomfotrable. I mean the waitress even ran my credit card for the wrong amount. Almost $50 dollars more. All the same we will not be venturing back to this restaurant and will be taking our chances elsewhere.

Wow, this place has the best food in Scottsdale! And the saki bombers are THE best. There isn't ANYWHERE I would rather go for sushi. The TUNA is fabulous, everything is fabulous... The prices are terrific. This place sets the standard for service. The owner always ensures everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves. This place is packed for a reason!

A customer from work told me about Kyoto's lunch specials. I have been twice now, and have gotten a lot of food for very little money. The food is good, and well prepared. The wait staff is freindly and willing to help the sometimes confusing lingo of the Sushi menu. Try a Las Vegas Roll, very good! I plan on trying each item on the menu, in time, of course.

Once you have Sushi at Kyoto nothing will compare. Great place to hang out on the weekend for Sushi and drinks.

AWESOME place! The prices can't be beat and the portions are fantastic. Picky eaters will LOVE this place! Don't even think of trying to go on a weekend night without reservations though!!
