Food was good. Good amount of food for the price. The option of a buscuit, toast, or pancakes with your meal is a nice change. Small family owned place with unique decor leads you to believe that you are in for a treat as soon as you walk in. However, service with a smile is never a motto in that place, with the exception of the owner. The waitresses seem to forget about you including bringing stuff when asked. They don't clean off tables, so you are always stuck sitting somewhere you don't want to unless you ask them to clean. Gone several times now and seems to have left a bad taste in my mouth. If service was better, we would definitely go back.
Food is alright but nothing to brag about! You can defiantly tell that this is a family owned and operated. The service sucked! There was not a smile on one persons face. No thank you. No come again. No have a good day. I sat at the counter waiting for a to go order and witnessed 3 customers walk in the door. The first customer stood there for about 5 minutes before they realized you seat yourself. Not one employee said hi are directed them to seat themselves. The second set of customers sat at a dirty table and had to wait for someone to clean it. The third customer waited for service and was still waiting when I left. It’s sad! This restaurant has a prime location and a good idea but will never be what it should be due to the fact that the employees just don’t care.
Pros: Excellent baked goods, cookies and brownies are delicious. Sandwiches taste fresh. Menu has good assortment of sandwiches. Breakfast.
Cons: Service is poor most of the time. Inside needs to be cleaned up and given some touch ups. With a small amount of work inside, this place could be a gem. Bathrooms are gross.
If this place could just improve its service, and do a few things on the inside, it really has potential.
