Chances Are Restaurant, Scottsdale

i love the food, employees, entertainment and have always had a wonderful time at this retaurant! i personally have had many family gatherings here and always had a marvelous time and so have all of my friends and family!! the singers that mel hires here are the best ever and better than most around the country. i love ray and sherri and ruthie and mel and jimmy , lou and phil etc....... love the place!!!

I don't know about the restaurant but I hope it not as deceptive as their towing of cars away at midnight. This place is located in what I would call a shopping area with plenty of parking. I parked my car their before midnight well after all business's were closed. I returned to get in my car and it was gone. I later find out that it was towed and it would cost me $75 dollars to pick it up. The signage is very deceptive as in not very clearly detailed. Also I called up the towing company Monster Towing in Phoenix, and asked why my car was towed along with several others that were taken but the area was still full of cars. He told me his driver was tired and went home for the night. I guess the restaurant and tow company made their quota in cash. I will never eat their because who knows they might tow me while I'm in the restaurant. It's very sad that a restaurant would do this to supplement its profits. I guess they learned this from the Airline industry charge for everything.

I LOVE CHANCES ARE. I live in Manhattan, NY and last year I gave my mother a suprise birthday party at Chances Are. I honestly can say the owner, manager, staff, and dj really made this a night to remember. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT , THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, AND THE PARTY WAS A SUCCESS. I CAN'T THANK SHERRI ENOUGH FOR ALL THE WORK SHE DID TO MAKE THIS NIGHT AN EVENT FOR MY MOM TO REMEMBER, IT WAS IN PLANNING FOR 3 MONTHS. MEL AND SHERRI MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS EXACTLY HOW I ENVISIONED FROM THE FLOWERS , BALLOONS, COCKTAILS AND BUFFET. THE PRESENTATION AND THE UNEXPECTED GIFT OF AN ICE SCULPTURE FROM THE OWNER WAS BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THE END RESULTS I HAVE CALLED UPON SHERRI ONCE AGAIN TO ARRANGE ANOTHER MEMORABLE EVENING OF DINNER, DANCING AND MUSIC. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR LARGE AN INTIMATE SETTINGS FOR OLDER AND MATURE ADULTS WHO STILL LIKE TO GET THEIR PARTY ON... WE HAD GUESTS OF ALL AGES COME FROM NY, NJ, COLORADO, TEXAS AND FLORIDA THEY ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AS WELL . AS A GIFT FOR MY MOM A VIDEO WAS MADE AND I ONLY WISH I COULD SHARE IT ON HERE AS PICTURES DO NOT LIE.. THANKS AGAIN CHANCES ARE I LOOK FORWARD TO LATER THIS YEAR.

Went there for breakfast Sunday, food was excellent, the staff seemed very attentive to all my families needs. Looks like a 'Cheers' bar. Would recommend for sure!!

Awful everything... food, service, aesthetics. Dismal place, in my opinion.

We called ahead and Chances Are stated they were open until midnight. There were 3 couples that went there for dinner/drinks. After dinner we listened tothe DJ and danced. Around 10 PM while we were on the dance floor we could see the waitress taking away our drinks and prepping the table for the next day's new business. (new napkins silverware etc). It's not like they were unaware as the women's purses were on the table and so were our drinks. Like I said they just took the drinks away and moveed the women's purses around so she could spray down and wipe the table. We complained to the female bartender but she was not much help. When we tried calling the manager the next day some one other than the manager called and said sorry but stuff like that never happened there. She offered no reimbursement for our removed drinks. Apparently management does not care too much about keeping its patrons happy. I will not go there again.
