A great retro experience

Before going, I read the other reviews to get an idea of what to expect. Walking in was like stepping into the past - a high end supper club from maybe the 50's. The linens were clean and crisp. The service could not have been more attentive. My husband and I shared the prime rib (enormous!) and we agreed, we had never seen such a luscious and large piece of meat. I've never been a fan of prime rib, but this definitely changed my vote - I'll get it again! The baked potato WAS actually baked ... not sitting on some steam table like most. Even sharing (they do charge for an extra plate if needed - I didn't) we did not have room for dessert. Note: they do automatically add the tip to the bill, but our waitress made sure that we knew that beforehand. By the way, we're in our 50's and the experience reminded us of places our parents might have gone to that were for special occasions only. Minor dislike: the house steak sauce was like ketchup, in my opinion.
