Pink Pepper Thai Cuisine, Mesa

I was so disappointed. My Thai lettuce wraps were more like shredded lettuce instead of lettuce bowls, the soda was flat, it was over priced for what I got. All the plates have shredded lettuce on them to make the portions appear larger. Last but not least, I came here for some spicy food. I ordered my food to be 7 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most hot and it was not spicy at all! The staff was pleasant but the food was not.

They are not bad for an inexpensive and tasty buffet, but if what you really want is re Thai food, you should visit Nunthaporn in Downtown Mesa. They are great, and their food is sooooooooo tasty! I like Pink Pepper, and all the choices they offer through their buffet.

Best local Thai food we've had. We recommend the sweet & sour dishes, spring rolls, satay, chicken in plum sauce, and much more.

We eat at this restaurant at least once every few weeks and always try to suggest it to out of town guests because every type of taste can find a food they like here....They have some great veggie dishes. They've introduced me to crispy tofu, which I have come to love (previously hated it) and their creamy chicken dish is our fav! They have at least 12-16 entrees on the buffet, 2 soups, several salads, some fresh fruit, their delightful little doughnut balls and honey rice strips...My favorite are the sweet chicken wings when they are fresh. This is a lovely restaurant where you feel like family. We do.

just excellent. try the buffet. this way you get to try all the different dishes during lunch. tom yum soup xcellent. to cool down your mouth after ther always some fruit.

I live in the area and have tried and tried several times eating at Pink Pepper in Mesa....tonight will be the last time I ever do that. I order the same thing every time, Pad Thai Noodles and everytime it is different. Most times, it's somewhat ok and edible and then there are those few occasions where it's wonderful. Tonight was not one of those nights. I couldn't even eat it. I dont know what chef was working but it must have been his first day on the job. The sauce was no where near correct and the chicken was raw! I will never go back again and advise others the same so that you too wont have to go somewhere else to purchase dinner twice in one night to get edible food.

I love the food. everything is ordered on a hot scale from 1 to 10. at about 7, your mouth is burning off! the service is usually pretty good, but sometimes is lacking in attention or rather slow.

Simply the best lunch buffet anywhere. Served 11 - 2 Monday - Saturday it has a wide variety of foods to sample from mild to fire hot. And drinks were included in the very reasonable price. If you go after lunch let me recommend the Thai Spicy Wraps, (I usually get them with pork, but beef, chicken and shrimp are also available.) Wrapped in a tortilla like wrapper and cooked in a wonderful brown sauce, be sure to tell them how hot you would like it. You get 2 wraps and they are served with cucumber/pepper oil and a lovely peanut sauce to moderate the heat. I highly recommend this one.

Pink pepper is a good choice for anyone who has never eaten thai before.If anything is ordered spicy they dump piles of chilly flakes on them.Pink pepper does have some things going for it.The appetizers are generally pretty good and the service can be wonderful.This restraunt used to be much better before the new owners took over. After reading other reviews on this page, coupled with the fact that I don't expect any kitchen's best performance for a buffet, I went to this Pink Pepper with significantly lower expectations. My lunch was even worse than I expected. There was really nothing distasteful about the food, but Thai food is supposed to be flavorful and have a zip to it. This was mostly bland, boring food. The spicy dishes weren't spicy and everything pretty much tasted the same. In addition, the place looks drab and not real clean. I see no reason to give the Pink Pepper a second chance.
