Rosa's Mexican Grill brings you authentic Mexican food similar to that which is served along the Baja Coast of Mexico, all our food is made fresh ,We use no chemicals, preservatives or lard in any of our foods, all of our salsas are made from scratch using the freshest tomatoes, chilies & Spices .We marinate our beef & pork in fruits juices, herbs & spices & slowly oven roast them .The meats are then lightly char-broiled while we baste them in their own natural juices. The Chicken is marinated in a special mild red chili sauce & is baked for serveral hours until each pieces is firm & moist .
Rosa s is great! The service is friendly, polite and timely. The food is enjoyed by everyone. Rosa s has been my restaurant of choice for a few years and I have loved the food everytime! I always take my out of town guests to Rosa s, so they can experience real Mexican home town hospitality and food. Great place to take the whole family!

LOVE this place and it's all in your personal taste but I LOVE the sweet green salsa and the FISH TACO plate. I make both at home now. Simple, friendly, efficient and homey. We have been eating there for years. Four homey stars.
I'm not a particularly picky eater, but Rosa's is quite possibly the absolute WORST food I've ever eaten in my life. Not the worst Mexican food, the WORST FOOD EVER. The only reason I'm giving this one star is because I can't give it no stars. This is nothing like real Mexican food. When I walked through the door I got the whiff of mediocre Mexican food like you find at Garcia's, Mi Amigo's, Macayo's, etc. But at least when you go to those places they are palatable and you know what you're getting into.
First off, the green tomatillo salsa is SWEET. Not just sweet like a dash of sugar, but sickly sweet. Never in my life have I had a sweet tomatillo salsa. I quickly changed to the red salsa which was palatable, but still mediocre. I ordered a chimichanga thinking that no one can mess up on of those. I was wrong. The meat was sweet, the salsa was sweet, the rice and beans were also nothing special. My wife ordered the fish tacos. They were also sweet. Mexican food is not generally supposed to be sweet unless you order a dish like mole. The best thing that came to our table were the nachos we ordered for our toddler.
When the bill came I felt extremely cheated. This place is way overpriced for what you get. If you want to know what Rosa's is like, get a taco from the restaurant of your choice and through a cup of sugar onto it, and enjoy. I would have much more enjoyed Taco Bell, and I definitely wouldn't have felt cheated on the price. I will never return to this place nor will I ever recommend it to anyone who wants authentic or delicious Mexican food.
The quality of the food has declined in recent years, but it's still not bad. 15 years ago, it was hands down the best in Mesa. What a shame.
Still not a bad place to eat, but there are better tasting options and better value for your dollars.
Everything about Rosa's Mexican Grill is wonderful -- especially the food. I have two pieces of advice before going to Rosa's. First, ask for the hotter salsa and mix it with the salsas they originally bring to you. Second, order the fish tacos and savor them.
Bright Mexican decor accentuates the bold flavors of traditional Mexican food at this local favorite. Try the Pescado Taco Terrifico,
lightly fried battered fish placed in a warm corn tortilla. This casual place also serves up salads, pizzas and ...
