I LOVE this place! We live nearby, and it quickly became our favorite. The salsa has a nice smokey flavor. My personal favorite is the spooning shrimp relleno plate, but for something a little different, try their chimichilada plate, the seafood enchiladas, or a good old classic of a burrito or chimi (which is my husband s personal favorite). We even planned our rehearsal dinner here! Don t let the dated building fool you, you re in for a treat!
YUMM! The calamari was absolutely incredible! We've tried 4 or 5 dishes there and love every one. I hate to eat out and have to order something I could've made at home. This place has a creative menu. The waiter remembers us and makes great recommendations based on our tastes. They also have BOGO in the Entertainment book ($5 for the 2010 version) in case you're unsure and want to try them on the cheap.

Honey Smoked Pork Tamale, Tenderloin Relleno & Shrimp Enchilada for 16.95. Awesome! Rustic and tasty! They server was very good! We went to the Roaring Fork the night before and the food was not that good and cost 2 times more than B/A and I was treated to an undercooked piece of chicken! :oP Go if you have the chance! Don't forget the Sopapillas!

When in the Phoenix area, the Blue Adobe is a must stop for us for their Lobster Tamales and Prickly Pear Margaritas.
We had a great time when we visited the restaurant on October 24th! The ambiance was great, the service was wonderful & the food was excellent!
The only thing that I wasn't totally enthused about when dining here was the price of the meals. I realize, though, that I'm rather frugal (read: cheap) and usually choose a fast-food restaurant to better dovetail with my daily life.
That being said, I am looking forward to my next trip to the area so I can eat there again. The price is worth the great food I was able to experience.
