I first heard about Santisi Brothers when our neighbor told us it was not just the Best Sports Bar around but the food was not typical bar food. So my husband and I gave it a try and all I can say is we were not disappointed, in fact it has become one of our favorite restaurants. We gave Santisi Brothers a try on a weeknight with our daughter. We arrived and found a table in front of a wall unit that had more TV’s on it then I have ever seen before. After we sat down a “Santisi Girl” greeted us. I explained to her this was our first time in and she went over the menu with us and recommended some of her favorite dishes. We ordered a few large beers and a root beer float for our daughter. When the drinks arrived all I can say is that FROZEN MUGS arrived FROZEN. Ice crystals were floating on top of the beer. Those beers had to be the coldest beers I have ever been served in a restaurant/bar ever. For dinner my husband ordered the Baby Back Ribs with the Giovanni Sauce, which I was told the sauce was designed by one of the Santisi Brothers. My daughter ordered the Chicken Tenders because they were made fresh to order. I ordered a 14” Extra Thin Crust Pepperoni and Sausage pizza with 12 hot wings. Then we decided to order Bruschetta for an appetizer. The food arrived and the presentation and smell was amazing. My thin crust pizza was thin and crisp and the sausage is actually real sausage that has been cut long ways instead of that crumbled sausage. My wings were hot and perfectly sauced. Not just hot, but very nice flavor. The ribs my husband got were incredible; the sauce is a blend of spicy and sweet, which we have never experienced before. You could tell that the chicken tenders were made from scratch, they were tender and the portion was large. If you’re a sports fan or you just like really good food, Santisi Brothers should be on your short list. I would consider myself a fan of Santisi Brothers now and you should be one too. Check them out, I promise you’ll be happy you did.

You know, I used to really like this place. My previous review was 4 stars. They had a couple of good subs, but that quality has hit the fan in the past year. I've made two to-go orders recently and they were BOTH messed up. Each time, I ordered a salad w my sub and didn't receive it. The first time, I was reallllly craving a salad and they forgot it - it was late and I was hungry, so I actually went back to Santisi's to get my food - a 40 minute round-trip from my neck of the woods. This second time, hungry and fed up, I was not willing to drive back to Santisi's to have them fix their mistake. So, I called to speak to a manager. Johnny, the manager, told me that he would issue a gift certificate. I explained that this was the last time I'm going there: it's a far drive and this is the second time they've messed up a simple order. The subs aren't even what they used to be. (Unless you LIKE soggy bread under your meatballs, of course.) I just wanted the cost of my sandwich refunded (the salad comes w the sandwich) to the card I used. Either ignoring my point or just not caring, he told me that I would have to drive to Santisi's to get a refund, because they needed to swipe my card and could not take the numbers over the phone. Baloney, anyone? Johnny just kept repeating policy until I got more and more frustrated with the fact that, again, it's MY responsibility to incur gas costs and take ANOTHER 40 minute drive so they could fix a mistake THEY made -- for a SECOND TIME!! Finally, Johnny put me on hold while I was mid-sentence. Really?!?! I am apalled - and piiiiiissed! I thought this situation was deplorable and maybe an owner would care to hear about their dysfunctional kitchen and worse management. WRONG! I called to ask for the GM name, was not given a name, and put on hold for over four minutes. Finally, Toni Santisi and I speak and not only does she deny Johnny put me on hold mid-sentence (the customer is always right, right?!) but she barely lets me get out a complete sentence and talks over me the whole time to end by insulting me. She said she cannnot issue a partial refund, but she can void the entire transaction in order to have my husband and I never set foot in her dirty bar again. I'm sure she won't issue a refund because - surprise! - they never took our name when we ordered on the phone. Way to run your business. Besides, that was decided when I came home and you screwed my order up for the SECOND TIME IN A ROW. Now, don't get me wrong, I will go out of my way for exceptional food (I'm talking to you, Capriotti's sub shop on Mill), but I will NOT go out of my way to have so-so food from a place run by monkeys.

For over 14 years, almost 10 of which, I've attended, Santisi Brothers has BY FAR been the leader in so many categories, I couldn't possibly state each. So I will: BEST OVERALL NY-ITALIAN FOOD: eh just make that best food, period (And some people think this is just a bar-bah!): BEST PIZZA, both thin and thick Sicilian style. BEST WINGS to go with them. BEST LASAGNA-my personal favorite on the menu. Heck, I've been coming for nearly 10 years and have tried practically everything on the menu: EVERYTHING is PERFECT. Let me tell you, and this should give you a hint about their standard for quality: in this past decade, nothing has changed in taste. It has been prepared for us piping hot and wonderful back when the Dbacks won the World Series as it is now. I truly believe if you have that good of a product, DO NOT change it. BEST SERVERS: These gals are GREAT. I could be gone 2½ months and they will still remember me and my order, down to how I like my wings. But, beyond their waitressing, they are extremely friendly, funny and have just the right bit of attitude to make sure you enjoy your visit. Did I mention, they're absolutely BEAUTIFUL? You don't have to go to Hooter's which is a fake look at fake women; come to Santisi's for the real deal. Besides, Hooter's is great if you're 14. When you're ready to grow up, come to Santisi Brothers. BEST SPORTS PLACE: Oh, yeah, I forgot, they have over 100 TVs, even ones on their generous patio outside. And these were NOT found at a pawn shop. Hell no. It would take me three to six months to afford one. HD, wide screens, and those awesome servers I mentioned will (WITHIN reason) change them for you when you want to watch a different sports program or play the NTN games. This should give you an idea why you should watch sports at Santisi Brothers: there's a line at what, 8AM, Sunday to get in just to watch football. And when I (stupidly) wander in around noon looking to find a seat, I'm in no luck. The fans here are in droves and know where to be with likeminded sports enthusiasts. Did I leave anything else out? Well, here's a rundown of the whole picture: Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 - VERY friendly and funny. Food Taste: 5/5 - Best in (NY) Italian I've had. Best is their Lasagna. Food Quality: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 - Very kept up, always clean, and if a spill does occur, the staff immediately takes care of it. Friendly Staff: 5/5 - I've developed friends with some of the girls, and guys, outside of Santisi's Fast Busing: 5/5 - Extremely - they're always there when you need them. Smoking Area: Outside, very large patio, and even some of the patio is segregated for non-smokers, if you prefer to bake in the AZ heat. (It's covered, though, with both heaters and mist'ers.) Would I Return?: 5/5 Absolutely, I've been going for over 9 years, after all. Would I Recommend?: Yes And to who?: Anyone from age 5-97 Additional Information: You've gotta see it for yourself. Especially if you like sports. I don't particularly, except for channel FUEL and D-Backs. I go for all the other reasons. The Girls, The Poker and the NTN.

Stopped by to grab a cold beer and pizza before the movies. I was shocked to see roaches behind the bar area. If the roaches are visible, that means more are behind the doors in the kitchen. I won't be back.

Santisi Brothers

Love this bar! They have cold beer, great pizza, and the best calzones in all of Arizona and of course awesome prices. The waiter/waitresses/bar tenders are all good people and the giant walls filled with t.v.s makes this place the perfect spot for any game night.

Not my cup of tea...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/08
Santisi Bros is right next to the dollar theather on Bell Rd. It looks cool from the outside, with a great patio, but, well, the crowd was a little rough around the edges, not my cup of teat so to speak. I won't be back.

my sister and I like to come here just to drink and eat. The sandwiches are good, the pizza is perfect. They also serve seafood, but I haven't tried it yet. We go every Friday but I haven't been there nights. Eat and smoke outside and have the servers turn on the misters!

John Santis is great and people who work for him are always happy go lucky. You can not go wrong with the menu.
