Farm at South Mountain

Description

Here, the friendly staff serves up a bountiful array of farm-fresh soups, salads and over-stuffed sandwiches that you can enjoy in the peace and serenity of a shady grove of pecan trees. Great fun for the whole family! The restaurant itself is a real farm cottage; the dining room is a sprinkling of picnic tables in the pecan grove. The chef uses top quality organic produce, grown on their own farm to create flavorful, ultra-fresh soups, salads and sandwiches. Artisan breads are also baked on-premises.

Absolutely wonderful!!! The atmosphere is great as are the sandwiches! The chicken salad was perfect and the bread warm and crusty. The pecan bar was heavenly. Perfect lunch spot.

Lovely place to relax and eat great food. I always have a hard time deciding what to eat because everything is delicious. We enjoyed walking around the garden. Can't wait to go back.

Nice breakfast place
By ,
My mother-in-law took I and my husband to this place for breakfast. The have great home made muffins. You are surrounded by pecan trees and can actually buy dishes with them. A nice menu and good coffee, with free refills.

Serenity

Such a relaxing, wonderful atmosphere to picnic, nap, eat, share with a special person. The people are fantastic and the food is phenomenal. Bring a blanket, a special person, and try any one of the scrumptious deli sandwiches w/ their lemonade, and don't forget the desserts, carrot cake is the best A+++++

Grate place for families
By ,
The farm is a very beautiful and peacefulplace. Lots of space for kids to run around! I personally didnt like the food. It was oversalted!!! or oversweetend!!! and too much oil was used too. Next time I will bring my own food!!! :)

Absolutely fantastic food, great location at The Farm. You can go for a walk on the beautiful, spacious property, check out the gardens, even go shopping at the local store. Great place, I HIGHLY recommend it.

A Midwestern Retreat From the Desert
By ,
I have gone to the farm since I moved to AZ from Iowa in 96. It is a quiet, idyllic retreat to have lunch or breakfast with fresh organic food. They serve your meals in picnic baskets which you can then take to a patio area or picnic tables set up under their Pecan Orchard. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a back to basics retreat from the chain restaurants and hustle and bustle of city life. One of my favorite lunch spots in Phoenix!
