I've been to all 3 Bluewater Grills and this one is super special! The food is consistently out of this world! The staff is accomodating and seem to know when you need something. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought I was on the water in Newport Beach while dining at the Phoenix store. Kuddo's to the creators of BWG!!
Overall, they did a great job. My friend order the salmon (blackened), I ordered the New York Strip (medium-rare), I had oysters and we shared the calamari. The salmon and appetizers were perfect. The only reason why I rated food 4 stars instead of 5 was because the steak was medium instead of medium-rare. They cut the steak for presentation, and in my opinion, had it too long on the warmer before serving it to me. If I would have known about how it was going to be presented, I would have asked for rare. The waitress was excellent. The ambiance had that sea-shore shanty feel, but the lighting was too low. Will try again the next time in town. Well done to all.
After two bad experiences with the restaurant, I almost didn't give the Sushi bar at The Fish Market a chance. It's a good thing that my lovely significant other was hooked on the Sushi.
It's almost hard to believe you can even get quality sushi in the desert. The sushi is always top quality and extremely fresh. It certainly helps that the main sushi chef, Julio, takes his job so seriously. His desire to always put out a quality product is a tribute to the managements ability to identify superb staff. Let's not forget the Happy Hour prices make for an affordable mid week night out.
For all the reasons above make The Fish Market another one of my TOP 10 Phoenix dining spots. The Fish Market has become a staple of my weekly dining routine, and I don't see that changing any time soon.
